WELCOME! It is my pleasure to welcome you to the Gala of Games. Tonight is all about fun, games and having a great time, and I am sure that is taking place at homes all across the country and the globe. A special thank you to the auction chairs, volunteers and everyone who made this wonderful night possible. I know that it is the culmination of many hours of hard work and I truly appreciate their dedication. As we gather virtually to celebrate the impact that Ursuline has made on so many young women, I ask you remember Ursuline’s mission of Serviam, I will Serve. This mission calls us to serve others at all times, especially during a crisis. Tonight you will hear from two families about their Ursuline story and their sincere gratitude to our generous community. Let us continue to support our students and to give new Bears an opportunity to start their Ursuline story. Your support of the Academy is indicative of what it truly means to live out Serviam. STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS & TUITION ASSISTANCE Ensuring Ursuline Academy remains affordable and accessible Scholarships and tuition assistance are vital to the success of the students of Ursuline Academy. Currently, 40% of our students receive some form of tuition assistance. That translates to 134 young women who are thriving, learning, growing and achieving through the generosity of our donors each year. Not only is funding critical for our current families, a growing number of our applicants continue to need support and a strong tuition assistance program is key to our admission success in a competitive market. Our young women deserve to be surrounded by students from many backgrounds and neighborhoods. To make this possible, we rely on the generosity of our community as your gifts continue to be a blessing at a time of uncertainty for many of our students.
