Lexington Catholic High School is a community rooted in Catholic faith and virtue, dedicated to spiritual, moral, and academic excellence. We nurture each student and prepare them to succeed and thrive in all aspects of life.
OUR VISION
Our Catholic Vision is to lead our students to Christ by inspiring lives of purpose and servant leadership through the education of their Mind, Spirit, and Body.
Dear Family, Friends, Stakeholders, and Donors of Lexington Catholic High School,
On behalf of the faculty, staff, and Board of Trustees of Lexington Catholic High School, we extend our deepest gratitude and appreciation to all our donors, benefactors, and volunteers for your continued support.
As you may know, tuition and fees cover faculty and staff salaries and benefits; however, Lexington Catholic would not have financial resilience or stability without the annual support of individual donors like you.
Additionally, tuition and fees do not cover expenses related to athletics, student clubs, or campus organizations. These funds must be raised separately by our Advancement team and through fundraising efforts by individual teams or organizations. Overall, school expenses exceed $9.1 million, with athletics alone adding $1.4 million. Even our Parents Action Corps (PAC) is funded entirely through membership fundraising.
In the 2024 2025 academic year, Lexington Catholic raised over $1.6 million through major fundraisers such as Hoagies, the uKnight Fund, Mid Knight Stakes, corporate sponsorships, raffles, and individual gifts, including a significant estate gift. This also includes scholarship support, such as the newly established Father Norman Fischer Fund, which raised over $174,000. It is a tremendous undertaking each year.
This figure does not even account for the invaluable time and talent of our volunteers who serve our teams, programs, and major fundraising events, nor the many in-kind contributions that support infrastructure improvements such as the recent renovations to our basketball, football/lacrosse, and girls’ soccer/lacrosse locker rooms.
As you can see, our advancement efforts and fundraising initiatives are critical to our school’s success. We sincerely thank you for your generosity and commitment as we look ahead to celebrating the 75th anniversary of Lexington Catholic High School in 2026.
May God bless you and the entire Lexington Catholic community as we embark on a new school year together.
Warm Regards & Blessings,
Rob Rumpke

“We are a community focused on faith, education, and service. Through the uKnight Fund, we are able to bring innovative strategies to the classroom, new programs, while enhancing existing ones, and allowing faculty to have the resources our students need to thrive.”
THE FATHER NORMAN FISCHER FUND
Continuing a Legacy of Faith, Joy, and Service
Now in its second year, the FATHER NORMAN FISCHER FUND is already making a meaningful impact at Lexington Catholic. Created in partnership with the Fischer family, the fund honors Father Norman’s joyful spirit and commitment to ensuring all students, regardless of financial need, can access a Catholic education.
Thanks to your generosity, two awards were given in the May Awards Ceremony, with the first recipients of these special awards being: The Joyful Knight Award winner NATHAN DENINGER and Vocation Scholarship recipient MAE ABORDO.
Additionally, the Fischer Scholars Supplemental Tuition Assistance program is helping families who need more than traditional aid can provide, through a special application and review process. This fund supports:
• THE JOYFUL KNIGHT AWARD, celebrating students who embody Father Norman’s spirit
• THE VOCATION SCHOLARSHIP, honoring seniors discerning lives of faith and service
If you gave last year, thank you. We hope you’ll consider giving again to help continue Father Norman’s mission. Donations can be made online or by mail (please note “Father Norman Fischer Fund”).
Your support ensures Father Norman’s legacy lives on in the hearts of our students today and for generations to come.

“My love for Lexington Catholic extends far beyond its physical structure—it’s rooted in the faith and family I’ve discovered within its walls. Over the seventeen years I’ve spent collectively as a Knight, I’ve been blessed with lifelong friendships and countless cherished memories. Sharing LCHS with my own children has been one of the greatest joys of all. UKNIGHT FUND
The Power of the uKnight Fund: Supporting Every Student, Every Day
At Lexington Catholic High School, the uKnight Fund plays a vital role in ensuring that our mission to educate young men and women in the spirit of Christ continues to thrive. As an essential part of our annual school budget, the uKnight Fund is arguably our most important fundraising priority—and its impact is felt across every corner of our campus.
WHAT DOES THE UKNIGHT FUND SUPPORT?
Unrestricted gifts to the uKnight Fund help bridge the gap between tuition revenue and the actual cost of a Lexington Catholic education. These gifts are used immediately to support the greatest needs of the school in any given year, allowing us to remain agile and responsive.
THE FUND SUPPORTS:
• Tuition Assistance – making a Lexington Catholic education accessible to more families
• Special Programming – enriching academic and extracurricular offerings
• Retreats and Faith Formation – supporting the spiritual growth of every student
• Campus Improvements and Classroom Resources – enhancing the student learning environment
Every single student at Lexington Catholic benefits from the uKnight Fund in some way. Whether through financial aid, a retreat experience, upgraded technology, or access to new academic opportunities, this fund truly touches every life on campus.
INTRODUCING THE SUPPORT WHAT YOU LOVE CAMPAIGN
New this year, we’re excited to launch the Support What You Love campaign within the uKnight Fund. With a gift of $2,000, you can direct your support in a more personalized way. This special giving opportunity allows you to:
• Designate $500 to a specific area of school life that matters to you—whether it’s an academic department, athletic team, student club, or special initiative
• Contribute $500 to the Father Norman Fischer Fund, continuing his legacy of faith and service
• Receive a Seasonal Sign that proudly displays your support during the season and at the location of your choice
This is a unique way to support the uKnight Fund while celebrating the part of Lexington Catholic that you love most.
DONATE
YOUR GIFT MATTERS
Every donation—regardless of size—makes a meaningful difference. The uKnight Fund is what enables Lexington Catholic to offer the exceptional, faithfilled education our students deserve. Tuition alone does not cover the full cost of running the school, so we count on your generosity to help make up the difference.
Thank you for supporting the uKnight Fund and ensuring that every Knight has the opportunity to thrive.
UKNIGHT DAY 2026
Mark your calendars for uKnight Day 2026—our annual 24-hour day of giving—on Thursday, April 23, 2026
This exciting day brings the entire Lexington Catholic community together to support the uKnight Fund and demonstrates the power of collective generosity.
We will once again host the crowd-favorite Faculty, Staff, Alumni vs. Students Basketball Game to raise money and spirit for the uKnight Fund. You won’t want to miss it!

HONORING
Heyward M. “Sonny” Tibbs ’54
Heyward M. “Sonny” Tibbs, Class of 1954, is a powerful example of the lasting impact that planned giving can have on Lexington Catholic High School. Through his generosity, the Heyward (Sonny) and Emmabel Tibbs Fund was established to support tuition assistance, opening doors for future generations of students.
Sonny passed away on June 3, 2022, leaving behind a legacy of service, faith, and generosity. A standout student and athlete at Lexington Catholic, Sonny went on to attend Transylvania University. He and his beloved wife, Emmabel Tibbs, were married for 54 years. A devoted member of Christ the King Parish, Sonny served his church and community with deep commitment and humility.
Lexington Catholic is endlessly grateful for Sonny’s gift and the enduring opportunities it provides. His legacy lives on in every student who receives support through this fund.
