Auction Rules

Live Auction

• The live auction will begin at 8:00 p.m. and continue until all live auction items have been auctioned.

• The live auction will be conducted in the same manner as it has been done in the past. You will be issued a bidder number corresponding to the number you entered at registration. Your total amounts purchased on the live auction will be added to the totals from silent auction and raffle chance purchases.

• To enter a bid, raise your bid number high enough to attract the auctioneer’s attention.

Silent Auction

• The silent auction tables will close at 7:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 1, 2023.

• All bids will be placed via mobile bidding.

• Bids are placed through QTEGO.

• Guests will automatically receive text confirmations and outbid notices.

General Rules

1. All sales are final. No exchanges or refunds.

2. Use only the bid number registered to you.

3. Payments may be made with cash, check, MasterCard, Visa, American Express, or Discover Card. Payment is mandatory on the evening of the Key ‘23 unless other previous arrangements have been made.

4. Items must be removed at Key ‘23 unless other arrangements have been made.

5. All certificates are valid through April 1, 2024 unless otherwise stated.

6. Lexington Community Foundation (LCF) and the donors make NO expressed or implied warranties of fitness, merchantability, or the like, or representations of any kind or nature concerning the property or services being sold at this auction. NO statement in the catalog or statements at the sale shall be deemed to be a warranty, representation, or assumption of liability. Neither LCF nor the donors are responsible for any personal injuries or damages to property or services sold.

7. To determine the amount of your charitable contribution, consult your tax advisor. Values set forth on the items being auctioned are the donor’s estimate and are not warranted by Key ‘23.
