Local medical and healing facilities have filled rooms and hallways with local art, and the testimonials of patients and loved ones proves the power of art. On the campus of CHI Saint Joseph Cancer Center East stands Amazing April, a lovingly crowd-funded Horse Mania entry commemorating a Lexington woman’s brave battle with cancer, an inspiration to all who see it. Three Horse Mania Horses of Hope, beacons of resilience and fortitude, now reside in tornado-ravaged Western Kentucky.
