2026 Best of Juniata County Winners Announced

We are pleased to announce the winners of the 2026 Best of Juniata County awards, as voted on by local residents. Many of our readers live in Juniata County and others do at least a portion of their shopping and business there. Over 7,300 votes were cast in this year’s survey!

Earlier this spring, The Sentinel ran an online nomination survey that allowed the public to nominate their favorites in over 35 catego-

ries. The categories included shopping, food, health and service providers. For example, we asked area residents’ opinions on things such as the favorite auto body shop, best farm supply store, or the tastiest french fries in Juniata County. The online votes have been tabulated and The Sentinel is now able to announce the winning businesses for this eighth survey year throughout the pages of this edition.

In many categories, the voting was close and all nominated businesses can be proud of their standing in the community. Congratulations to Ashley Leonard of Thompsontown, who was chosen as our random winner drawn from among all voters to receive a $50 Weis gift card. The Sentinel would like to thank everyone who participated in the nomination and voting process.
