THE PIG opened its first property in 2011, and quickly established a blueprint for the rest of their venues. Characterful country houses or historical buildings with deep local roots. A commitment to source locally what can’t be produced on-site. It’s this approach that led to B Corp certification in July 2024. In the decade that followed their first opening, The PIG has expanded with a series of increasingly exciting venues. The latest of which is the PIG in the South Downs. This venue has quickly established itself as one of the UK's standout boutique venues for executive events, leadership retreats and luxury client entertaining. Set within the rolling countryside of West Sussex, just outside Arundel and within easy reach of London, the hotel blends the charm of a traditional country house with the relaxed, food-led hospitality that has become synonymous with the PIG brand. It offers guests the atmosphere of a beautifully restored private estate, making it an inspiring choice for businesses looking to step away from formal conference environments and create more meaningful experiences. What really sets this property apart is its connection to the surrounding landscape. Home to the largest kitchen garden across the PIG collection and its very own vineyard – the first in the group's portfolio – the hotel embraces a genuine field-to-fork philosophy, with much of the restaurant's menu sourced from within its own grounds or from suppliers located within a 25-mile radius. Guests can explore the vineyard, wander through the productive gardens, enjoy wine experiences or simply make the most of the outdoor spaces between meetings, creating a programme that feels far more memorable than a standard hotel stay. The recently introduced spa, housed within converted potting sheds, offer a twist on the typical spa experience and is great for incentive groups or leadership teams looking to combine business with wellbeing.
THE PIG in the South Downs isn't designed to host large-scale conferences. However, it excels at intimate corporate gatherings where quality and experience take precedence over capacity. The Round Table is the hotel's dedicated meeting space, hosting 16 guests seated or 24 guests standing, providing a private setting for board meetings, strategy sessions, and leadership workshops. Equipped with a screen and flipchart, high-speed Wi-Fi and complimentary refreshments, it comfortably supports focused discussions in an environment that feels more like a private dining room than a traditional meeting space. Built into the property’s traditional wine cellar, it creates a focused and productive yet relaxed atmosphere, making it ideal for executive teams looking to think creatively away from the corporate office. For private dining and social occasions, The Garden Room offers one of the hotel's most attractive event spaces. Accommodating between 12 and 24 guests, the room overlooks the gardens and benefits from its own private terrace, allowing groups to move seamlessly between indoor and outdoor spaces. It lends itself perfectly to client dinners, celebratory lunches, networking events or intimate team gatherings, with the hotel's exceptional food and wine taking centre stage. The flexibility of the space means it can easily transition from daytime meetings into relaxed evening entertaining, providing a natural flow for smaller corporate events. This is a real showstopper space, and is sure to stick in the minds of your guests. THE PIG in the South Downs is particularly well suited to organisations looking to reward teams, host senior leadership discussions or entertain key clients in an environment that feels authentic and luxurious without being overly formal. Unlike many country house hotels that prioritise scale and grandeur, THE PIG focuses on creating memorable, highly personalised experiences, making it an excellent choice for businesses that value exceptional hospitality, outstanding food and an inspiring setting. In a market where many venues compete on capacity alone, THE PIG in the South Downs stands out by delivering an experience that delegates are likely to remember long after the meeting has finished.
THE PIG & THE PIG ON THE BEACH THE PIG and THE PIG-on the Beach showcase the versatility of the PIG collection, offering two distinct settings while delivering the same relaxed luxury, exceptional dining and highly personalised hospitality. THE PIG, nestled in the heart of the New Forest, is the original property that established the brand's now-famous "restaurant with rooms" concept. Surrounded by ancient woodland and open heathland, it provides an idyllic backdrop for executive retreats, board meetings and client entertaining, where delegates can combine productive meetings with countryside walks, outdoor activities and outstanding seasonal dining. The Green Room is the venue’s one exclusive meeting space, accommodating 8-14 guests. Great for all types of gatherings, including private dining. Plus, with its own outdoor terrace, you can seamlessly blend the beautiful New Forest countryside into your event. In contrast, THE PIG on the Beach brings the same boutique experience to Dorset's Jurassic Coast, overlooking Studland Bay. The coastal setting creates an immediate sense of escape, making it particularly well suited to incentive trips, leadership retreats and VIP hospitality. With panoramic sea views, beautiful terraces and direct access to the surrounding coastline, it offers an unforgettable setting for businesses looking to reward teams or host clients somewhere truly memorable. The Roundhouse provides a truly unique space for day meetings or boardroom gatherings. If you’re looking for something different, this space accommodates up to 12 guests in a cosy thatched house with a sociable round table. While neither property is designed for large conferences, both excel at intimate corporate gatherings where experience is the priority. Their private dining spaces and informal meeting areas provide the perfect environment for strategy sessions, management away days and celebratory events, while the award-winning food, home-grown produce and distinctive surroundings create an atmosphere that is far removed from a traditional meeting venue.

FAIRMONT CHESHIRE
VENUE TYPE: Hotel LOCATION: Chester Road, Knutsford WA16 6LJ England
THE MERE
EVENT CAPACITY 1,000 Delegates
Nearest Train Station: Knutsford Station
Reopened in July 2026 following a complete redesign and refurbishment, Fairmont Cheshire The Mere is set to become one of the North West's most exciting luxury meetings and events destinations. Formerly one of our most frequently used venues, its transformation into a Fairmont property elevates it into a completely different league, combining internationally recognised luxury hospitality with a resort-style setting just 30 minutes from Manchester. The redesign has created a venue that feels contemporary, premium, and destination-led, with elegant interiors and lakeside views. Add to that the arrival of Gordon Ramsay at The Mere, and the resort becomes an attractive destination for incentive and executive groups. With 157 acres of Cheshire countryside, 10 event spaces, capacity for up to 1,000 delegates, 450 complimentary parking spaces and excellent access to Manchester Airport, this is likely to become one of the strongest luxury conference venues in the North of England. WHY IS IT HOT? Fairmont Chesire, The Mere has been one of our most anticipated venue launches of 2026. This reimagining brings one of Accor's most prestigious brands to the North West. The venue feels entirely new, combining contemporary design, premium hospitality and bringing a resort atmosphere to a location that's easily accessible. For us, there's another reason this opening matters. The Mere was already a popular choice across our client portfolio before it closed for refurbishment, so we fully expect demand to return quickly as organisers look to experience the new Fairmont offering. If you're looking for somewhere that feels fresh, aspirational and genuinely exciting for delegates, this is one of the hottest openings of the year. Make sure you book soon, or miss out on the potential this venue has to provide.
Anyone looking to impress delegates will immediately appreciate the luxury positioning, stylish new interiors and lakeside setting, while event organisers benefit from practical advantages including extensive parking, strong transport links and flexible meeting space. The spaces on offer include: The Grand Ballroom - The venue’s headline space. It’s able to accommodate 1,000 guests theatre or 800 for dinner, it's one of the largest luxury hotel ballrooms in the North West and will compete directly with venues such as Carden Park, The Lowry and Manchester Central for premium conferences and gala events. The ballroom also benefits from natural daylight, lake views, a private foyer and dedicated bar, making it feel more like a destination venue than a traditional conference suite. It manages to balance a blank slate - perfect for branding opportunities - with sleek elegance, meaning this space works no matter your event style. The Mere Suite - A quintessential event space, perfect for the bread-and-butter corporate conference market. Holding up to 260 theatre style, it offers natural daylight, blackout facilities, its own veranda and private bar area. Ideal for residential conferences, sales meetings and leadership events. The Lakeside - A scenic space that benefits from the best views of The Mere Lake out of all the spaces available. Works well for medium-sized conferences, workshops or private dining events where the surroundings become part of the delegate experience. The four smaller meeting rooms provide excellent breakout capacity for larger conferences or work well independently for board meetings, interviews and executive sessions. The combination of indoor event spaces with expansive outdoor grounds also provides opportunities for summer networking, drinks receptions, wellness activities and team-building experiences overlooking The Mere Lake. From a delegate perspective, it caters equally well for C-suite leadership teams, senior executives, board members, sales teams, regional managers and larger employee conferences. Its accessibility also makes it attractive for organisations with delegates travelling from across the UK, particularly those wanting to avoid central London while still offering an aspirational venue.

SOCIAL SPACE
SKYLINE
SPECIAL
There's something about London's skyline that elevates an event. Whether it's networking beneath the dome of St Paul's, cocktails overlooking Tower Bridge or a rooftop gathering above Soho, these venues prove that any event can become iconic - even cinematic. Here's our pick of the best social spaces where London's landmarks provide the backdrop: BROADWICK SOHO - FLUTE 20 Broadwick Street, Soho, London, W1F 8TH Nearest Tube Station: Tottenham Court Road
Broadwick Soho is a fantastic venue in its own right - its style and top-notch service transport you to a different time. Its rooftop bar, Flute, offers panoramic views of the London skyline, with views of landmarks such as The Shard and the London Eye on the horizon. If you need more incentive to visit this summer, the bar has been transformed in collaboration with Marrakech hotel El Fenn. The result is one of London's most atmospheric rooftop experiences, filled with Moroccan-inspired textiles, lanterns, art installations and seasonal cocktails. The combination of the city views with a boutique, Moroccan twist make this a truly unique experience - one that is sure to stick in the minds of anyone who visits. Flute is available to hire and can host up to 175 guests standing. If you need a little extra space or are hosting a more intimate event, there are several other rooms that are just as beautifully designed, including The Dining Room, ideal for private dining up to 28 guests, or The Nook which is perfect for an intimate reception of up to 40 guests standing. SABINE ROOFTOP Leonardo Royal Hotel, St Paul's Nearest Tube Station: St Pauls
Few venues deliver such an iconic London backdrop. Sitting almost face-to-face with St Paul's Cathedral, Sabine offers uninterrupted views of one of London's most recognisable landmarks from a botanical-inspired rooftop complete with retractable roof, making it suitable throughout much of the year.
BOOK THIS VENUE
BOOK THIS VENUE
Unlike many rooftop bars, Sabine caters equally well for small groups and larger corporate events. The combination of flexible event spaces and arguably one of the best views of St Paul's makes Sabine a genuine crowdpleaser. The retractable roof also removes much of the weather risk often associated with rooftop venues. Exclusive venue hire means you can take over the space and accommodate up to 250 guests, or opt for semi-private space for 50-100 guests. VU FROM THE TOWER Tower Hotel, St Katharine Docks Nearest Train Station: Tower Hill Underground Station
If you’re looking for a venue with a backdrop of a London landmark, it doesn't get much better than this. Positioned beside Tower Bridge and overlooking the River Thames, Vu From The Tower enjoys one of the capital's most photographed panoramas, with Tower Bridge ever-present in the background of your event and spectacular views towards The Shard and the City skyline. The location does most of the talking. Guests arrive with Tower Bridge directly outside and enjoy some of London's most recognisable views throughout the event, making it particularly memorable for overseas visitors and incentive groups. The venue is well equipped to host relaxed drinks receptions or exclusive corporate celebrations with packages built for partying with a London icon. With delicious food and fantastic drinks service, we’d highly recommend an event stretching into the twilight hours where Tower Bridge lights up and comes alive for a true showstopper experience.

THE ROUNDUP
STRATFORD UPON AVON & THE COTSWOLDS
Stratford Manor Hotel Warwick Rd, Stratford-upon-Avon CV37 0PY “I was pleasantly surprised by Stratford Manor Hotel and found it to be a modern, well-maintained venue with a welcoming atmosphere. The spacious reception, stylish bar, ample complimentary parking and abundance of natural daylight in the meeting rooms all created a strong first impression, while features such as the terrace with outdoor games, cinema room, spa and swimming pool added to its appeal. I think it would suit a wide variety of events and industries, particularly automotive events due to the vehicle access into the ground floor meeting rooms. The friendly staff, competitive DDR, flexible payment terms and overall quality of the venue mean I confidently recommend it. The only significant consideration is its location, as it sits around five minutes outside Stratfordupon-Avon, making it less suitable for anyone wanting to be within the town centre.” - Jayne Turnor
The Fish Hotel Farncombe House, Campden Ln, Farncombe, Broadway WR12 7LH “I was immediately impressed by The Fish Hotel, which offers a luxury countryside retreat with a relaxed yet premium feel on the stunning Farncombe Estate. The boutique interiors, warm welcome and beautiful woodland surroundings create a memorable first impression, while unique accommodation, extensive outdoor space and the wide range of team-building activities make it stand out from more traditional conference venues. I think it is particularly well suited to leadership retreats, corporate away days, strategy sessions and incentive groups looking for a more experiential setting. Its rural hillside location means accessibility and transport logistics need careful consideration, and it is not designed for large-scale conferences. However, the exclusive use options, strong sustainability credentials, and quality accommodation means it is worth shouting about. It delivers a memorable experience for smaller to medium-sized groups seeking something distinctive, and it is somewhere I would love to return to personally.” - Karen Rogers See a venue you like? LEICESTER & LOUGHBOROUGH voco Leicester 101 Welford Rd, Leicester LE2 7QS I found voco Leicester bright, modern and welcoming with a distinctive Brooklyn-inspired style that gives it plenty of character. The impressive atrium reception and open-plan restaurant and bar create an excellent space for networking. Although the hotel itself has just two meeting spaces, its direct connection to the adjacent Mattioli Woods Welford Road Stadium significantly expands its event capabilities, making it suitable for conferences, networking events, dinners and board meetings. I was impressed by its commitment to accessibility, with specialist accessible bedrooms, wider corridors and inclusive public spaces, alongside its strong sustainability credentials as part of IHG's Green Tourism Gold-accredited voco brand. I would happily recommend the venue for clients seeking a modern, vibrant venue with excellent networking space and access to larger conference facilities next door. - Rachel Dean
National Space Centre Exploration Dr, Leicester LE4 5NS The National Space Centre is a unique venue with plenty of wow factor, offering experiences that traditional conference venues cannot match. Highlights include the opportunity to host events beneath the iconic rockets, use the immersive 360-degree planetarium, or exclusively hire the entire museum. The dedicated meeting rooms themselves are quiet, modern and fully accessible, but the daytime delegate journey can feel busy and chaotic due to the venue being open to the public, so I’d advise planning the delegate journey to avoid any issues with crowds or noise. A great choice for organisations looking to create a memorable experience through exclusive or evening hire when delegates can enjoy the space without distractions. - Rachel Dean
Holywell Park Conference Centre Loughborough University Science and Enterprise Park (LUSEP, Holywell Way, Loughborough LE11 3GR) A bright, spacious and professional conference centre that feels purpose-built for events without being overly corporate. Bright, flexible meeting spaces, large restaurant and attractive waterside outdoor seating all work together to create an excellent delegate experience. The availability of accommodation across the wider Loughborough University campus provides flexibility for residential events. I think the venue is particularly well suited to conferences, networking events, and meetings requiring multiple breakout spaces, with the added benefit of over 1,000 complimentary parking spaces and the opportunity to access university experts as guest speakers. I was also impressed by the recently upgraded in-house AV, strong sustainability credentials, and fully accessible facilities. I’d confidently recommend Holywell Park to anyone looking for a versatile, well-equipped venue with excellent event infrastructure, a friendly atmosphere & high-quality service. - Susanne Al-Sayed
