STUDENTS' VIRTUAL TRIPS TO ITALY, NEW DEHLI, THE TAJ MAHAL AND MORE! Our pupils have been 'visiting' Rome, India, and Naples as well many other places, as part of their ongoing virtual trips! With the power of technology our students are able to 'visit' various extraordinary places providing an enriching experience and incorporating a range of subjects!
Year 7, 8 and 9 took virtual trips to Italy where, after 'flying' to Naples, they enjoyed making Italian pizzas, exploring Pompeii and Mount Vesuvius and a day visit to The Vatican plus many more activities throughout their three-day virtual trip. As part of their RS studies Year 8 'travelled' throughout India, visiting many places along the way, including Bangla Sahib Gurudwara, Jama Masjid, the streets of Old Delhi, Lakshmi Narayan Temple, and Lotus Temples in New Delhi. Year 7 Geographers also took a virtual field trip to New Delhi. The trip was led by Ms Lilly's Bitmoji who provided educational information about the places they visited. This was a brilliant opportunity for them to explore the city and get a sense of how culturally rich and diverse it is.
