SKETCH CLUB Sketchbook Club is one of 15 virtual activities we have on offer for our senior students this term. The first week's theme was 'NHS' showing appreciation to our fantastic key workers!

GINNY QUALIFIES FOR U15 FINAL UIPM LASER HOME RUN! Congratulations to Ginny, who qualified for the U15 Final of the UIPM Global Laser Home Run on 7 May! Having qualified through the first round of the inaugural lock down virtual championships, Ginny had to complete a series of exercises and then shoot over 5m. Ginny's performance was televised live on UIPM TV.

YEAR 8 BIOLOGY EXPERIMENTS

Year 8 carried out an experiment looking at Eutrophication - the effect of fertiliser pollution in ponds!

30 DAY MINI SKETCH BOOK CHALLENGE We have had some fantastic sketches sent in as part of our Art and Design Department's 30 Day Challenge. Keep sending them in to office@leweston.dorset .sch.uk

Mrs Dawson held a seminar for our Year 13 students who are considering university courses in Biological and Medical fields. The students created presentations focusing on what people in their chosen career path are doing right now in the fight against Coronavirus.
