DENNIS CARLTON O’RORK I have written literally hundreds of Bible Lessons, teachings, and essays as well as a couple of media OPEDS for incarcerated veterans, along with a, “Re-entry Curriculum for Returning Citizens,” for Thou Shall Prison Ministries.

I grew up in an abusive and broken home. So books were my escape. I read everything I could get my hands on. My earliest favorites were books about science and a little later, in my teens, I read about Science-fiction.

I wrote my first short story about a human and android war when I was 14. I never gave a lot of thought to writing since it seemed so laborious to me. I liked engineering. It was not until I got to Bible college where I was challenged to write, write and write some more. At first everything was like a book report. But then in seminary; my favorite subject became “Christian Apologetics.”

Here I was challenged, over and over, to defend the faith from counterfeits.

Once I read a “Christian Manifesto by Francis Schaeffer, I was hooked.

During my first very large Thesis it became clear to me to produce an updated version of Schaeffer’s original work. It would be based on the state of world and of the United States in the the second decade of the 21st century. I believe that my goal was achieved.
