Dr. Jan Cooper Award-Winning Author An internationally acclaimed artist has found time to be an art teacher, an author of three books, a magician/ventriloquist on a children’s TV show, and an auctioneer. He is the winner of the International Award from Manuscripts International, and recipient of the George Washington Honor Medal from the Freedom Foundation at Valley Forge.

Currently Jan teaches and writes near Sacramento, California.

Dr. Jan Cooper has degrees in Speech, Drama ,and Art. His advanced degrees include: A Masters Degree in Education from Oregon State University, and a Ph.D. from The American Institute of Holistic Theology. Dr. Cooper has taught Art to troubled inner city youth. Some of his students have won scholarships to Disney Studios and a Fashion Design School.

Back in the 80’s Jan hosted his own TV show interviewing artists and authors. For a couple of years he was a ventriloquist on a Children’s TV show. He, also, is a Graduate Gemologist and Jewelry Designer from the Gemological Institute in Santa Monica.

His most prestigious award and honor is the George Washington Honor Medal from the Freedom Foundation in Valley Forge.

After 33 years of teaching Jan Now is a substitute teacher in The Twin Rivers School District in Sacramento California and gives workshops on Health, Wealth, and Miracles at a Seventh Day Adventist Church in Antelope California.

A LETTER FROM THE HOLY SPIRIT Dear Artist, Giselle Hasel ( a professor and director of art and design in Collegedale, Tennessee ) stated: “ My teacher became frustrated with me for sketching instead of paying attention to her lectures, when, in fact, it was my way of learning and paying attention.”

I too, had a History class my freshman year of college At Minot University in Minot, North Dakota. The professor yelled at me: “ Why don’t you take an art class?

He too didn’t understand that some of us learn by doodling, and sketching. I took his advice and I am ministering to people with my art and doodles.

Ellen White stated,” At all times and in all places, in all sorrows, and in all afflictions, when the outlook seems dark and the future perplexing and we feel helpless and alone The Comforter will be sent in answer to the prayer of FAITH.” The Comforter definitely answered my prayers as I became an artist, author, speaker, teacher, Gemologist, and hosted my own TV show back in the ‘80s. So, fellow artists don’t let anybody intimidate, label, or judge you. Your only JUDGE will be God. Giselle stated, “ The nineteenth Century painter Vincent Van Gogh wrote to the family that he felt “CALLED “ BY GOD. But the Christian Community is rejecting him.

I, too, feel called by God to paint, write, speak, and give workshops on FAITH, HOPE, AND HEALTH. In a letter to his mother and brother THEO, he wrote that God had sent him to preach to the poor, but he must first have it in his own HEART. His ministry was misunderstood by the Dutch Reformed Church and he took up painting to express his religious convictions.

He claimed: “ Our purpose is to self-reform by means of a handicraft and of intercourse with nature - our aim is walking with God.” Giselle stated: “Van Gogh was filled with self-doubt about his artistic calling and lived a life in obscurity, hardly selling any paintings. His deep depression might have led to his early death.” But his paintings are in all major Museums in the world.

Ellen White said, “ The Savior is by the side of the TEMPTED and TRIED ONES, with HIM there can be no such thing as failure, loss, impossibility, or defeat.”

She was so right Christ came to teach humans what God desires them to know in the HEAVENS, EARTH, OCEANS, and see His handiworks.

If God is calling you into MINISTRY or to be an ARTIST; it is your responsibility to live your dream. ART AND COLOR ARE HEALING. I believe if God calls you to be an artist you have more things to OVERCOME than most.

Dear Believer, The unhappy are unteachable. they will remain that way because they fear going where they are needed. But, God has not forgotten you. He is your compass that will not fail you as long as you are in this world.

Be content as Paul, for in Heaven you will spend eternity with people void of tears, anger, pain, and betrayal. but, in life, you will be filled full with Corona Viruses, wars, natural disasters, sickness, and traumas. The truth is that every generation since Adam has faced calamities.

You are loved very much. I am here to give you PEACE! Be thankful for all things and one day you will be light in a dark world. You must deny yourself and live the words of Christ. Be in control for whatever is in your HEART will come out of your mouth.

It is your responsibility to know who you are and discover through scripture the plans God has for you. You are only responsible for what you can do. Let God speak through you to reach the HEARTS of the people.

You must continually drink from God so you will never be thirsty. Yes, God wants YOU through your ACTIONS to lead people to repentance for the resurrection is near. Trust God and watch Him do AMAZING things.
