Discover Kawaii Candy & Karaoke: A Sweet Escape in Louisville
Brandi "BJ" Hall always knew she wanted to open a brick and mortar version of her mobile dessert catering company, Kawaii Candy Cart, which she launched in May 2023.
“It was when my 7 year old daughter asked to do something "fun" in the neighborhood that I realized there was a great opportunity to bring some additional entertainment to the (Anchorage/Middletown) area,” Hall explained. “This was my opportunity to bring the things I loved about living in Las Vegas to Louisville along with creating a unique ‘3rd space’ where people of all ages could feel like a kid again.”
Kawaii Candy & Karaoke is heavily inspired by some of Hall’s favorite places in Las Vegas, NV, where she lived for 14 years prior to moving to Louisville. “I used to love shopping at the various Asian markets in town and going to karaoke with my friends,” said Hall.
It's not just a candy store, but a fun hang out spot for guests of all ages. Kawaii Candy & Karaoke is the only candy store in Louisville that offers private karaoke rooms and a mini arcade.
“My mother is from the Philippines, (singing karaoke) was a very normal pastime for me growing up,” added Hall.
Kawaii Candy & Karaoke has two private karaoke rooms designed for unforgettable experiences. Each room is outfitted with custom LED lighting and top-notch sound systems,

“The claw machines are just something my family and I like to do, and we had room for it,” explained Hall. “I felt like it brought everything together to make it a true local hang out area for families of all ages.” Their claw arcade is regularly updated with new prizes, and the candy selection changes frequently, promising a fresh experience with every visit. “It's really the only place currently in town where you can experience all of these things under one roof (imported candy, karaoke rooms, and a claw arcade),” stated Hall.

“Our dedicated staff is always on hand to ensure your event runs smoothly, making your experience enjoyable from start to finish,” Hall said.
