2019 LES International Annual Conference In Yokohama, Japan — May 26-28, 2019 By Junko Sugimura

n behalf of LES Japan, I am honored and delighted to invite you to the 2019 LES International Annual Conference in Yokohama, Japan, to be held May 26-28, 2019. The theme is “Create IP Culture—Open for Business,” for which we will provide a number of timely, businessoriented sessions, giving you opportunities to share developments and insights on the latest in licensing and IP. We will have two brilliant Keynote Speakers, Mr. Toshiyuki Shiga, Member of the Board of Directors of Nissan Motor Co., Ltd., and Chairman and CEO, Member of the Board of INCJ, Ltd., and Mr. Satoru Matsuzaki, President and Representative Director, Ryohin Keikaku Co., Ltd. (MUJI). There will be one plenary session, two mini-plenary sessions, and 20 workshops specially targeting particular areas for in-depth coverage, allowing for interaction and discussion. We have assembled a stellar cast of plenary speakers, all of whom you will find stimulating and challenging. This conference is not only a great way to keep abreast of developments in licensing and IP, it is also an opportunity to
