O processo de investigação desperta a curiosidade e gera engajamento sobre os assuntos, pois com a nossa abordagem, não existe apenas um caminho a ser seguido para solucionar um problema. As novas gerações já possuem ferramentas

para acessarem diversificadas informações, antes mesmo de serem apresentadas ao assunto, em aulas ou materiais didáticos.

Como problematizar e contextualizar os saberes, possibilitando a formação de novos conceitos? No processo de investigação, o aluno percorre etapas também conhecidas como o “Inquiry Cycle”.

O ciclo de investigação pode ser encontrado dentro do modelo exclusivo da Sphere: O OPEN Framework, baseado em trilhas de projetos, que têm como objetivo formar alunos nas diversas áreas do conhecimento, desenvolver princípios por meio de conteúdos abordados e preparálos para que sejam capazes de enfrentar desafios locais e globais.

APPROACH For Sphere, knowledge begins with the investigation cycle and results in the formation of citizens who will make a difference in the world.

The Sphere student learns the content and develops the skills that prepare them for the future. Our pedagogical project is aligned with the Common National Curriculum Base (BNCC), the international curriculum, and UNESCO projects. We bring together the best practices in education globally to offer a high level of globalized and up-to-date education.

There is no longer a single way to organize the essential understandings and school practices that will support students in their learning trajectories, but what we do know is that different paths will lead to different results as well.

It is with this in mind that Sphere, which is a school dedicated to training innovative, critical and responsible young people, which makes a difference

for the next generations, is dedicated to dynamic pedagogical practices, balancing contextualized teaching and academic rigor in the various areas of knowledge.

The investigation process arouses curiosity and generates engagement on the issues, because with our approach, there is not only one way to be followed to solve a problem. The new generations already have tools to access diverse information, even before being introduced to the subject, in classes or teaching materials. How to problematize and contextualize knowledge, enabling the formation of new concepts? In the investigation process, the student goes through stages also known as the “Inquiry Cycle”.

The investigation cycle can be found within Sphere’s exclusive model: The OPEN Framework, based on project trails, which aim to train students in different areas of knowledge, develop principles through covered content and prepare them to be capable of facing local and global challenges.

EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION The first years of a child’s life are the basis for their future growth, development and learning, not only within the school, but also in the family and community environment. The main personality traits are formed in this age group and the child learns more at this time than at any other stage of his life. All children come with a bag, and we use it as a foundation in the learning process.

Our Early Childhood Education is centered on playing, socialization and the full use of creative potential, expanding social relationships and interaction with the environment through playful activities and a wide range of resources.

We use learning centers as a didactic approach, which are designed to enable exploration and development of knowledge in the areas of languages, arts, mathematics, science, social studies, physical education, and social and emotional education.

These spaces are carefully designed, aiming to meet all the needs of each student, providing each one with the space to observe and explore the environment with curiosity and a passion for learning.

ENSINO FUNDAMENTAL Nosso Ensino Fundamental tem como objetivo desenvolver nos alunos habilidades e competências cognitivas, físicas, sociais e emocionais.

Dessa forma, ano a ano, nossos alunos desenvolvem habilidades com foco nas intenções educativas que visam conhecer e utilizar diferentes linguagens, fazer o uso de variadas fontes de informação e recursos diversos para adquirir conhecimento, se perceber como parte integrante e transformadora do meio ambiente, conhecer e valorizar todas as culturas e se posicionar de maneira crítica e responsável sobre questões sociais, entendendo e praticando o significado de cidadania e adotando para sua rotina, atitudes pautadas na responsabilidade social.

ELEMENTARY SCHOOL Our Elementary School aims to develop in students cognitive, physical, social, and emotional skills and competences.

Thus, year after year, our students develop skills such as communicating in different languages, making use of various sources of information and various resources to acquire knowledge, perceiving themselves as an integral and transforming part of the environment, knowing and valuing all cultures and taking a critical and responsible position on social issues, understanding and practicing the meaning of citizenship, and adopting attitudes based on social responsibility.

ANOS INICIAIS As Unidades de Investigação organizam nossos principais conceitos e conteúdos de cada série dos anos iniciais do Ensino Fundamental. Nossos alunos são encorajados a investigar ideia centrais que acompanham cada unidade. Dessa forma, o conhecimento sempre é contextualizado e é trabalhado por meio de estratégias de pesquisa e investigação, que geram uma postura ativa de nossos alunos no processo de aprendizagem.

Dentro de nossa metodologia, utilizamos o ciclo de aprendizagem juntamente com nosso modelo OPEN, que visa explorar todas as áreas de conhecimento: social, emocional e físico. O ciclo de aprendizagem é essencial para a formação de cidadãos inteligentes emocionalmente e socialmente conscientes.

EARLY YEARS The main concepts and content of each grade in the early years of Elementary School are organized into Research Units. Our students are encouraged to investigate core ideas that accompany each unit. In this way, knowledge is always contextualized and worked through research and investigation strategies, which generate hands on learning opportunities for students in the learning process.

As part of our methodology, we use the learning cycle together with our OPEN model, which aims to explore all areas of knowledge: social, emotional and physical. The learning cycle is essential for the formation of emotionally intelligent and socially aware citizens.

ANOS FINAIS Neste ciclo, a formação de nossos alunos ocorre por meio de projetos interdisciplinares que incluem diversos professores especialistas em cada área de conhecimento, como Língua Portuguesa, Língua Inglesa, Matemática, Ciências, Humanidades, Artes, Educação Física e Design.

Por meio do que chamamos de Tutoria, orientamos nossos alunos em seus projetos e desenvolvemos ações para auxiliá-los a se tornarem cada vez mais responsáveis pelo próprio aprendizado e desenvolver diferentes estratégias para uma aprendizagem autorregulada.

MIDDLE SCHOOL Our middle school students learn through interdisciplinary projects which bring in subject area experts in each area of knowledge, such as Portuguese, English, Mathematics, Science, Humanities, Arts, Physical Education and Design.

Through what we call Tutoring, we guide our students in their projects and develop actions to help them become increasingly responsible for their own learning and develop different strategies for self-regulated learning.

ENSINO MÉDIO O Ensino Médio é uma etapa de grande importância na vida de nossos alunos. Por esse motivo a Sphere se coloca sempre presente, ajudando na formação de ideias e escolhas para o futuro.

Neste momento, realizamos um processo de tutoria e aconselhamento individualizado.

Com os itinerários formativos e disciplinas eletivas, o estudante possui autonomia para desenvolver suas áreas de interesse, ampliando seu repertório e traçando caminhos para as próximas etapas que virão.

O rigor acadêmico do currículo Sphere traz diversas oportunidades para atuações no Brasil ou no exterior.

HIGH SCHOOL High School is a very important stage in the lives of our students. For this reason, Sphere is a strong presence in the lives of high school students, helping them form ideas and make choices for their futures.

At this moment, we carry out a process of tutoring and individualized counseling.

With the training itineraries and elective subjects, the student has the autonomy to develop their areas of interest, expanding their repertoire and tracing paths for the next steps to come.

The academic rigor of the Sphere curriculum brings several opportunities for work in Brazil or abroad.

The international curriculum also opens doors to the best universities in the world, in more than 150 countries, including Harvard, Oxford, Cambridge, Stanford, MIT, PUC, FAAP and FGV.

AFTER SCHOOL AFTER SCHOOL

Nas Atividades Extracurriculares, o aluno terá a oportunidade de desenvolver habilidades físicas, sociais e intelectuais, individualmente ou em grupo. Nosso foco com essas atividades é promover o melhor desempenho de cada aluno, com o apoio de professores especialistas.

Nosso programa de After School é composto por diferentes atividades, realizamos a divisão em três eixos: ICT (Information and Communications Technology), SCM (Skills,Coordination & Movement) e CAE (Creativity, Arts and Expression).

In Extracurricular Activities, the student will have the opportunity to develop physical, social and intellectual skills, by participating individual and group activities. Our focus with these activities is to promote the best performance of each student, with the support of specialist professors.
