‘The Sutton Sports Partnership have helped me enormously since I took on the role of PE lead in 2019, providing advice and ideas on PE, physical activity and school sports. They are knowledgeable, approachable and supportive and have helped both myself as a subject leader and also the wider teaching staff at Cheam Common Infants' Academy. The SSP have provided us with extensive training including: Real Legacy, Brick by Brick training, Mental Health First Aid as well as Level 5 PE certificate training for myself. They have provided in school support; coaching less experienced teachers with delivering safe and effective PE lessons. I know that this has had a very positive impact and that both our staff and pupils have benefitted. Support from the SSP has contributed towards Cheam Common Infants' Academy achieving the Bronze Award for Healthy Schools. We are very grateful to have them! ‘Over many years London Sport has developed a close working relationship with Sutton Schools Sport Partnership. The challenge of getting young people more active has never been greater and Sutton SSP are always proactive in many areas including championing the CYP Actives Lives data collection from schools, seeking innovative ways to engage young people, promoting opportunities for schools to engage with national programmes and projects. We look forward to further developing this relationship over the coming years providing more opportunities for young people in Sutton to gain the benefits of an active lifestyle’

Our Services Based in the London Borough of Sutton, we provide a broad range of professional development opportunities and curriculum support in PESSPA, alongside delivering a comprehensive programme of competitions, festivals and development events.
