The following pages provide information and the details related to the club events and leagues that will be played in 2025-2026 The following will remain consistent throughout the guide unless otherwise stipulated under the description. Events, formats, and details are subject to change.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Members who withdraw from must do so 72 hours prior to the scheduled event, or as noted in the registration. The 72-hour cancellation policy applies generally to all club events- golf, dining or otherwise unless explicitly noted
TIES
Match Play: In case of a tie at the end of 18 Holes, play will immediately continue, commencing at the first hole on a sudden death basis. Handicap Strokes to be taken as shown on the scorecard.
Stroke Play: Some events will require sudden death playoffs. If matching scorecards, the winner will be determined using the USGA recommendation as follows: the lowest score over the final nine holes. If still tied, the last six holes will be compared, then the last three holes, and finally the 18th hole.
HANDICAP REQUIREMENTS FOR EVENTS
All participants must have an active GHIN Handicap established through Lemon Bay Golf Club in order to compete in club events Please see the Professional Staff if you need a GHIN account.
REGISTRATION
Events: Registration opens 1 month in advance with exception to the Men’s and Ladies’ Invitationals, which will open 4 months in advance.
Leagues: Sign ups open 7 days in advance.
LOCAL RULES
Except as modified by local rules and posted at the golf shop, or on the scorecard, USGA rules will apply.
All roads will be defined as Out of Bounds except for Hole #15.
Hole 5 – Pumphouse and surrounding landscape will be played as ground under repair.
Penalty Areas- Defined by red stake or red lines, consult Rule 17.
Drop Areas- In effect on hole #2, #5, #15, #17
Sprinkler head yardages are measured to the middle of the green.
SAND TRAPS
It is mandatory that the sand traps (bunkers) be raked Do not leave a sand trap without raking it. Rakes should be left with the handle out and the rake in the bunker.
BALL MARKS
Fix all ball marks that you make upon any green. It is also highly desirable for you to fix another one or more ball marks that other people have made.
DIVOTS
Whenever you create a divot upon the golf course (whether on the tee of a par 3 hole, the fairway or in the rough), fill the divot with the sand provided on the tee or on the golf cart It is also highly desirable for you to fill another one or more divots that other people have made.
CART PATH RULES
Cart path rules will be established from time to time by the Green Committee and the Golf Professional. All such rules shall be posted when in effect. 90° cart rule is in effect unless otherwise posted.
HOW TO REGISTER FOR EVENTS AND LEAGUES ONLINE
1. Log in
Log in to account by accessing the Lemon Bay website at www.lemonbaygolfclub.com.
Click the “Member Login” button on the top right corner, and input your username and password.
2. Find Events
Hover over “Member Golf” from the top menu and click “Tournaments & Events” from the list
A new window will open with the Golf Genius web page.
3. Select your Event
A filterable list of Club events which you can sign up for will appear. Click the image of the event or “view” to access registration and see tournament details.

HOW TO REGISTER FOR EVENTS AND LEAGUES in-app
1. Download & Log in
Download “Clubhouse Online” app from your app store (image is a circled blue house)
Under “Club Name” Select Lemon Bay from the drop down list. Input your username and password. Forgot your username or password? Contact your Membership Director at Hannah.Madison@LemonBayGolfClub.com or (941)697-4190x205.
2. Find Events
You will see four tab options. Select the top one, labeled “Events.”
3. Select your Event
You will see a calendar list of events for the current month. Select your event by clicking on the name. Event details will populate. Under this, you will find a link to register for the event. Click the underlined words in the description. You will be taken to the registration page.

4. Event Page
The event flyer will appear Click the green “Register Now” button. From there, you can select “New Registration.” You can also edit your registration and view the list of participants.
5. Registration
Once you have selected “New Registration,” type in the first 3-4 letters of the players’ name and select the name from the drop box you would like to register.
6. Adding Players & Confirmation
Players can select “Add Another Member” or “Add Another Guest” if applicable and repeat the same process.
Once you have all the players added, check the boxes at the bottom and select register You will see a confirmation with names of the registered players.

Members and guests are encouraged to join our weekly golf leagues — a great way to meet new friends and enjoy the game
Returning players will automatically receive weekly email invitations and may also register at LemonBayGolfClub.com under Tournaments & Events.
New players can sign up in the hallway or email Ryan.Hartnett@LemonBayGolfClub.com to be added to the weekly league list
Invitations go out one week in advance You can register through the email link, in the hallway, by calling the Golf Shop, or online. All tee times not being used will be released 24 hours in advance.

Monday PALS Men’s Game
Each Monday there will be a PALS game, tee times for the group will begin at 9:32 am. The game will be organized and overseen by the professional staff. Each week we will play a different Nassau format, floating mulligans, closest to the pins, and longest putt made Signups for the following week will be sent out at noon each Monday, or you may sign up in the hallway. Sweeps Entry $6.00 per player
XXV+ Gentlemen’s Golf Scramble – Handicaps 25 +
The XXV + Golf League plays every Monday and Thursday afternoon at 1:00pm. We will have lunch on the patio beginning at noon, followed by golf This league was created for golfers that are looking for a fun, low stress atmosphere when golfing. XXV + league plays a “9” Hole Scramble format, followed by refreshments and laughs in the clubhouse.

Ladies’ Day

Each week features a new 4-person team format with pairings thoughtfully arranged by the professional staff to keep things fresh and social. Whether you're playing 18 or 9 holes, there’s a game for you!

Join us every Saturday morning for the LIFT Game a fast-paced, competitive quota format designed for serious golfers who play quick and putt everything out Every shot counts and every stroke matters

Pace of Play: Must complete your round in under 4 hours.
Eligibility: Players must have a minimum 21 Course Handicap.

Event Format: Ringers-Teams of two will play two 18- hole rounds using the bestball format. Field will be broken into 3 flights based on total team handicap. Awards for 1 place Gross in all flights, and 1 and 2 Net in all flights. st st nd
Scoring: The tournament score for each team will include the best score made on each hole across both rounds, calculated for both net and gross. Example: If your team scores a 5 on Hole 1 in the first round and a 4 on Hole 1 in the second round, the ringer score for that hole will be the lower score of 4 In the event of a tie, the winning team will be determined by a chip off from #1 tee
