Makes about 2 dozen cookies You will need: 1 ½ cups rolled oats* ¼ cup flour ½ teaspoon baking soda

½ teaspoon of baking powder ¼ teaspoon salt ½ cup packed light-brown sugar ½ cup granulated sugar 1 cup ( 1 stick) softened butter

¼ cup natural peanut butter 1 large egg ½ teaspoon pure vanilla extract 1 cup salted peanuts* 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips ¼ teaspoon of cinnamon*

Instructions: 1. Preheat your oven to 350°F. 2. Stir together oats, flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon (if you are using it). Then set aside. 3. Put the sugars, butter, and peanut butter in an electric mixer and mix at medium speed for 5 min or until it is white and fluffy. Then mix in egg and vanilla. 4. Turn the speed of the mixer to low and add dry ingredients. Mix until it is combined. Mix in chocolate chips and peanuts (if you're using them). 5. Put the cookie dough on a baking sheet and put in the oven for 13-15 minutes. Take out of the oven and check at 13 min. If it needs more baking time put them back in for 2 min. Once the cookies look golden brown let them cool on wire racks.

6. Keep them for yourself or share with your family and friends!

*Oats are optional but if you don't use them, put 1 ¾ cups of flour. *Peanuts are optional. *Optional:You can also sprinkle cinnamon on top of your cookies.
