Each collection extends the creativity of those who use it: renowned chefs, leading hotel groups, and hospitality professionals find in it a reflection of their identity, vision, and personality. Here, design takes on an almost poetic role. However, visual beauty does not compromise functionality: stackability, durability, replenishment capacity, and timelessness ensure that each piece meets the strict demands of hospitality and catering, combining aesthetics with operational efficiency. Innovation and sustainability are the pillars that support the brand. Research, Development, and Design are at the core of its activity, ensuring the constant evolution of processes and products. At the same time, Costa Verde embraces environmental responsibility with equal dedication. Richard Brendon was founded to make the everyday exceptional with beautifully crafted tableware showcasing quality, integrity and longevity. Inspired by the expert craftsmanship honed over centuries in places such as Stoke-onTrent, Richard Brendon’s pieces show an appreciation for both the past and the future. The brand launched in 2013 as a result of Richard’s fascination in the history of British porcelain and its long-standing home in Stoke-onTrent, after discovering a surplus of antique saucers on Portobello Road in London. He wanted to breathe life back into these saucers which had lost their cups overtime, and designed Reflect; a collection of mirrored teacups in platinum and gold which would reflect the beautiful patterns on these antique pieces to provide a place for them in the modern world. His bone china collections have expanded over the years to include Details from Willow, Line, Superstripe (a collaboration with PATTERNITY), which also appears at Corinthia London in a bespoke colour range, and The V&A Series.
The brand has since grown to develop cut crystal collections, including Diamond and Fluted, as well as the Jancis Robinson Collection. Richard worked with the globally-renowned wine expert to create a mouth-blown wine glass, specifically designed to elevate the drinking experience of all wines from Champagne to Sherry, complete with water glasses and decanters for both mature and young wine.
