Talking Tables are definitely our type on paper! The team were celebrating their Tropical range appearing on Sunday night’s episode of Love Island. “We sent them a box of samples and were thrilled when their products appeared on the show last night,” says Assunta Trano, senior markeing manager. “They used the flamingos and the pineapple cups — and they were all wearing the sunglasses. We were absolutely thrilled.” Assunta’s pictured here with colleagues Jade Goodwin (left) and Katie Holloway (right). Many visitors to Home & Gift will already be familiar with the range as the company were responsible for decorating the venue for the Sunday Sundowners. Head to DP2-12 to see more.

Buying and selling! Donna McDonald-Macnaughton isn’t just running her stand, Melt DP1-D68, she’s also buying for her shop in the Ribble Valley — also called Melt! “This is our first show and I’ve really enjoyed it,” she says. “We’ve had some great leads on the stand, and are planning to place orders for the shop once we’ve taken in what we’ve seen.”

It was a another successful day at Home & Gift Buyers’ Festival yesterday with buyers from the likes of TJX Europe, Fenwick, Morleys, John Lewis, British Garden Centres, Bettys, and Derwen Garden Centres browsing the halls. Bettys were a star guest in our Retail Hub with Robyn Cox, their merchandising manager, pulling in the crowds to listen to his expertise on creating stunning displays to showcase your brand this Christmas. We’re looking forward to a great night tonight at our exhibitor party with a fiesta vibe in Revolucion de Cuba. Hope to see you there. Another two great days at Home & Gift are still to come where we’re expecting lots more orders to be placed and some more great faces through the doors!
