Donations in action

Here are just a few of the kind words from those that benefited by the actions of the Fence Club. Money raised making a real difference!

We would like to thank The Fence Club for very kindly supporting us again this year with the incredible donation of £2,000.

This will enable us to continue offering Siblings Club activities to the 100 families we support. Julia’s House are so grateful for the grant from The Fence Club Trust. The House Mates’ session are our sessions in the local community and as such are currently postponed due to Covid-19. The team are planning for what support our families might need after this period of self-isolation, however long it may be.

Parents of children with life-threatening conditions are terrified at this current time and our home care support, together with play, helps them not to feel so alone.

We are so thrilled you can support us to reach children with life-threatening conditions and families that are desperately in need, more so now than ever.

I am writing to send the sincere thanks of everyone here at Children’s Hospice South West to you all at The Fence Club Trust Fund for your continued support. We are so grateful for the generous grant of £2,691 which will enable us to purchase a full set of replacement hoist slings at one of our hospice sites.

As we all face trying and uncertain times ahead, CHSW will no doubt be even more reliant on the ongoing generosity of supporters such as yourselves.

THANK YOU, once again, for helping us to make the most of short and precious lives.

THANK YOU to The Fence Club for the fabulous donation of £2,000 in support of our Puppet Therapy Project.

I would like to wish the Trustees all the very best for the good work they do. I am writing to express our thanks to the Trustees of The Fence Club for the very generous donation of £2,500 which will purchase specialist wheeled chairs for children with profound disabilities who attend our specialist school, Langside.

We are so very grateful for the continued support of Langside School from The Fence Club Trust. Your support is making a huge difference to the lives of children who, without Langside, would not be able to attend school. Thanks to you the children will be able to learn and receive vital therapies and support to aid their development.
