01 About Lely Center Holsworthy

Your Robotic Specialists in Devon & Cornwall.

Lely Center Holsworthy has been established since 2008, and we are one of the pioneers in Lely robotic milking, feeding and barn products in the UK. The Center has evolved over time to provide a complete design, sales, service and back up operation second to none, helping our customers achieve higher productivity and effectiveness on their farm.

With our Head Office in Holsworthy, we have a team of certified service technicians located throughout the Devon & Cornwall region which ensures a quick response time 365 days a year; they all have the same goal – to maintain each robot to the highest standard and keep failures to a minimum and to keep customer satisfaction high.

The service technicians are supported by a dedicated team which consist of Sales Specialists, Feed & Manure Engineers, Service Manager, Project Coordinator, Farm Management Support specialists, an Admin & Accounts team, a Marketing Specialist and a Store & Stock control team along with a vast stock of spares.

It’s a team effort, whether that be designing a barn layout or assisting the feed nutritionist or vet, we are all here to help every Lely customer achieve their goals.

Tom Pitkin Managing Director After joining Lely Center Holsworthy in 2012, Tom worked as a Service Technician for five years before taking up various positions overseas within Lely worldwide. Tom re-joined Lely Centers Holsworthy & Yeovil in 2023.

Dan Gifford Service Manager Dan joined Lely Center Holsworthy as a Service Technician in 2009 before moving into the Service Manager position. He has over 16 years of Milking & Cooling and Feed & Manure engineering experience.

Chris Payne Group Aftermarket Manager Chris joined Lely Center Holsworthy in 2012. In 2023, Chris took on a joint training position with Lely Center Holsworthy & Lely Center Yeovil and in 2025 he moved into a Group Aftermarket role.

Louisa Chetnik Group Finance Manager Louisa started her accountancy career aged 18 and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2004.

She joined Lely in 2022 and s now responsible for all aspects of finace ay Lely Centers Holsworthy & Yeovil.

Simon Hoare Group Sales Manager Simon joined in September 2025, having previously worked for Delaval, Waikato, and GEA UK. He works across both Holsworthy & Yeovil Centers supporting the sales teams and engaging with customers.

Our Sales team will work with you to understand your needs and explain how Lely automation could fit into your system to help you fulfil your requirements.

Meanwhile, our Project Co-ordination team will adapt your ideas, your needs and requirements through to concept. Working closely with your planners and architects together with your chosen trades, our Project Co-ordinator will support you until the robots are up and running.

06 Service Support (TSS) With over 70 years of combined Lely technical experience, our service team are located throughout the Devon & Cornwall region which ensures a quick response time 365 days a year.

Carl Rescorl Senior Technical Support Product Specialist Carl, joined Lely Center Holsworthy in 2012 and provides backup support to our on-call engineers alongside supporting a team of engineers based in the West of our region.

09 Farm Management Support

Regardless of whether you are just about to make the transition to automatic milking and / or feeding, or you have been using our products and management systems on your farm for a while, our FMS team will support you during the transition to automated milking and feeding and will continuously review and optimise your set-up to ensure your present and future aims are met.

Merryn Cowls Farm Management Support Advisor Merryn joined the team in 2021 having worked as a nutritionist for 5 years in Cornwall and Devon. Moving to Lely has enabled her to continue to work closely with dairy farmers and redirect focus on robot settings and optimisation as well as support those moving to automation.

10 Business Support Our Business Support team work behind the scenes ensuring the center runs smoothly; the team consists of staff from Stock Control - who oversees stock control to ensure enough parts are kept on the shelf and Finance and Administration who look after the general accounts and administration for the Lely Center.
