Educational background Leland Sandler graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, in 1975. It is from UC Berkeley that the executive coach and former educator received his bachelor's degree in history. After completing his history studies and remaining at the University of California, Berkeley, he earned his secondary teaching credentials.

Seven years later, Sandler completed a master's degree in education at San Francisco State University. After graduating from San Francisco State University, he undertook further studies at Pepperdine University in Los Angeles County. He graduated from Pepperdine University in 1988 after completing his MBA.

Personal interests and hobbies Leland Sandler lives in the picturesque Colorado mountain town of Morrison, ten miles west of Denver. A part of Jefferson County, Morrison is located at the base of the winding Bear Creek Canyon. The town is best known for its famous Red Rocks Amphitheatre. Red Rocks Amphitheatre is an open-air concert venue built into the natural rock structure of the surrounding landscape.

Outside of his professional and charitable endeavors, Sandler enjoys a number of hobbies and other interests. These hobbies and interests include cross-country skiing, hiking, photography, reading, and writing short stories.
