Right now, yoga is one of the most in-demand offerings in the wellness space. Yet for many gyms, delivering it at scale remains a challenge. Complex education pathways, inconsistent delivery, and limited Instructor availability can make it hard to meet member demand. LES MILLS YOGA™ changes that. Created by world-leading experts and grounded in traditional practice, it’s designed to make yoga classes faster to launch, more accessible for members, and easier to teach. It’s welcoming and inclusive - this is yoga for everybody. It’s a four-part series designed to elevate the mind and body. Each 45-minute class explores a distinct state of being, Yin (Restoration), Hatha (Alignment), Vinyasa (Strength), and Breath (Clarity) - all through guided movement and mindful breathing. The program offers an accessible experience for both beginners and seasoned participants, helping them reconnect, find clarity, and leave feeling calm, centered, and renewed.
Clubs benefit from a consistent, highquality yoga offering that’s easy to integrate into existing timetables — without lengthy upskilling processes. For Instructors, the simplified teaching model ensures success from day one – reflected in member feedback: 94% of participants said they were satisfied with the quality of Instructor. With the wellness economy booming, this is a powerful opportunity to expand your mind body offerings and welcome more members looking for balance and recovery. Ready to bring yoga to your members, simply and seamlessly? Get in touch today to explore how easily you can bring this new mind-body program to your members, and make it a seamless part of your offering.

Resource revival Czech spa town Lázně Kynžvart is planning a comeback as an integrated £318 million wellness destination.
A
rchitecture and urban planning firm Vision Architecture has created a strategic concept to revitalise the Czech spa town Lázně Kynžvart and turn it into an integrated spa and wellness destination.. The town, formerly known as Bad Königswart, has developed an initiative called Bad Königswart 2030 to regenerate the town and strengthen its position as an international wellness and spa destination, with a focus on hospitality, medical tourism, heritage, gastronomy and culture. Lázně Kynžvart lies between the established spa destinations of Mariánské Lázně and Karlovy Vary, both of which are part of the transnational UNESCO World Heritage Site made up of 11 historic mineral spring spa towns, the Great Spa Towns of Europe (GSTE).
VISION ARCHITECTURE
The proposed Königswart complex would measure 48,000sq m

www.spabusiness.com
Radek Vopalecký, chief architect at Vision Architecture, told Spa Business: “The town already has state-recognised natural healing resources, such as mineral springs, a unique climate and peat – which are comparable to those of the nearby Mariánské Lázně area. However, its historical development was repeatedly interrupted, and the town never achieved the critical mass of accommodation and ancillary services required for full-scale spa operations.” The town is now known for the Children’s Spa and Sanatorium Lázně Kynžvart, which specialises primarily in non-specific respiratory diseases, skin ailments such as eczema, kidney and urinary tract illnesses, and childhood obesity. The architects say the project offers an opportunity to overcome what they describe as two centuries of stagnation and restore the town to a position of distinction within the European spa and medical tourism landscape. ©Cybertrek Ltd 2026 Spa Business Issue 511

spa business insights Königswart The new plan centres on Königswart, a proposed 48,000sq m medical spa, longevity and hospitality development on a 2-hectare state-owned site. The architects estimate the project will require investment of around CZK 9 billion (US$410 million, €369 million, £318 million). The site is designated in the municipal zoning plan for spa-related civic amenities, and the development is intended to become the centrepiece of the wider Bad Königswart 2030 regeneration initiative.
The proposal says the complex would be partly paid for by selling residences
VISION ARCHITECTURE

The concept includes between 1,200 and 1,800 beds, a covered climate-controlled promenade with ground-floor retail and restaurants, underground parking for 350 vehicles and technical facilities. A glass-enclosed foyer is planned to host concerts by international singers, with capacity for 2,000 standing spectators. The KYNŽV[ART] concerts are also intended to be broadcast on television. The medical component includes specialised units for respiratory and skin conditions, a longevity medicine centre, plastic surgery, rehabilitation, assisted reproduction, hair transplantation and comprehensive dental care, including implantology.

The preliminary model identifies the potential guest breakdown as follows: ■ Resort (4 – 10 days) ■ Medical and longevity
(7 – 21 days)
■ Traditional spa ■ Family wellness ■ Corporate/ education ■ Golf/ active ■ Shopping and lifestyle
The town’s historical development was repeatedly interrupted Funding and operation The proposed financing structure would combine the sale of apartments and medical suites to private investors with a strategic investment partner. The state would retain ownership of the land under a proposed long-term arrangement with developers. The investment memorandum also considers a structure combining stateretained land, institutional capital, senior debt and individually owned accommodation. Spa Business Issue 511 ©Cybertrek Ltd 2026
No operator or brand has been appointed. The project’s preliminary operating model forecasts stabilised annual revenue of CZK 1.95 billion (US$89 million, €80 million, £69 million) and EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation) of CZK 585 million (US$27 million, €24 million, TAP OR SCAN £20 million), but the memorandum stresses that these figures are scenario assumptions rather than an investable forecast. ● http://lei.sr/r3Q9h_S

n 18,000sq ft thermal spa called Forum Thermal will open in Calgary, in the Canadian province of Alberta, later this year. The indoor-outdoor facilities will be located on the ground floor of a 35-floor mixed-use building of 800 residential suites and retail units called The Oliver Block at the intersection of Calgary downtown and Beltline. Forum Thermal is owned by a group of entrepreneurs from the city with experience in the thermal spa industry, project development, architecture, landscape architecture, experience design and operations. The project is being developed by one of Forum Thermal’s founders and operating partner, Matt Wilson. Eton West is the general contractor and Hereby Architecture has designed the space. The spa experience design is by O2 Planning and Design and the operations development is by MacInnis Spa Consulting. Other companies involved in the engineering of the project include Smith and Anderson, Entuitive and pool system specialists Aqua Plans Aquatic Consultants.

Access to and between these spaces will vary, offering different types of transitions, compressions and expansions. The future of wellness A new vision of longevity
T
he Lake Como Edition offers a fresh take on luxury wellness. At its heart is the Longevity Spa, which was designed and delivered by Myrtha Wellness for owner, Omnam Investment Group. This brings together architecture, technology and the rituals of wellbeing to create an experience rooted in the concepts of longevity and wellbeing. Myrtha Wellness was entrusted with the design and build of the entire spa, from the reception and changing room areas to the treatment rooms, thermal experiences and hydrotherapy pools, culminating in the sculptural fountain that welcomes guests in the hotel lobby. Every space has been conceived as part of a seamless journey, where each transition, material and sensory experience contributes to a deeper sense of wellbeing and the result is a spa designed not simply as a collection of treatments, but as an immersive experience for the body and mind. Shay Zabari, project director, Omnam Group, said: “Working closely with Omnam, Neri&Hu and our project team, Myrtha Wellness combined technical excellence and design and build expertise with a highly collaborative approach to create a world-class spa that perfectly realised our vision.” 72 SPABUSINESS.COM issue 3 2026 26 www.spabusiness.com
OMNAM GROUP
Myrtha Wellness has created a Longevity Spa for Omnam Group’s Marriott Edition in Italy
“Myrtha Wellness expertly translated our vision into a world-class, placeinspired spa experience” Shay Zabari, project director, Omnam Group At its core are two ideas that are shaping the wellness sector: holistic approaches and longevity. The holistic approach inspired every design choice, creating spaces that guide guests through a natural circuit of relaxation, regeneration and recovery. Meanwhile the concept of longevity lies at the heart of the thermal journey, inspired by contrast bathing – an international wellness trend with proven benefits. “The future of wellness lies in integrated experiences, where thermal rituals, water, ©Cybertrek Ltd 2026 Spa Business Issue 511
technology and design create holistic longevity ecosystems that enhance physical, mental and emotional wellbeing,” says Stefano Cattaneo, global director, Myrtha Wellness.
THE JOURNEY
The experience unfolds as a sequence of sensations. After enjoying the warmth of the herbal sauna, steamroom and Finnish sauna, guests can experience the invigorating cold of the plunge pool, ice fountain and sensory showers. The journey then gradually returns to warmth and stillness in the Vitality Pool and dedicated relaxation areas, where the body can recover and find its natural equilibrium. One of the spa’s most distinctive experiences is the Myrtha Herbal Sauna. A specially developed vaporisation system releases the natural aromas of medicinal herbs, creating an environment that can be adapted through the combination of temperature, humidity and different herbal blends. The result is an exceptionally versatile space, capable of supporting different rituals: from athletic recovery to relaxation and stress management. This is the vision behind Myrtha Wellness’ Next Generation Spas: spaces – such as Spa Business Issue 511 ©Cybertrek Ltd 2026

Smart design, personalised experiences and a deeper understanding of the science behind natural rituals are the pillars of Myrtha Wellness. After all, the future of the spa will be defined not by the number of experiences it offers, but by the quality of the journey it creates. l More: www.myrthawellness.com SPABUSINESS.COM issue 3 2026 27 73 www.spabusiness.com
