Conny came in after dinner. Home. Kept Waters ½ an hour. Angry with W. Bed 12.0pm. Friday January 2 Up & worked hard all day. Finished Beatrice & Battenburg. After did Granville & countries. After dined 8.45. Bottle Pomery. Slept after dinner. Bed 1.0pm. Saturday January 3 Did not work. Rode to Bouverie St. After called Office & at Swains. After lunch at Club called Royal Academy. To Tuers for Tennis. Lost Roy's togs. Back to Scotland Yard after tea at Stafford Terrace. Called May's. Club & walked home. Dinner. Hamilton & Midge dined. Bad cold. Alkaram. Sunday January 4 Birthday. Chicks came with presents in morning. After breakfast rode to Richmond. Caught up Colin Hunter, explored new ride over Wimbledon. After could not keep up. Pippin went lame.
