TAKING CARE OF THOSE WHO CARE FOR YOU! Caring for our community every day is a Bayhealth team of more than 4,000 healthcare clinicians and team members. For several years Bayhealth has proudly provided an accredited, award-winning childcare center in Dover. The program is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and is a Five Star Child Care Center with the Delaware Stars program. Our childcare center has twice received the Governor’s Award for Excellence in Early Care and Education.

Ample space for playing, eating, and even cultivating fruits and vegetables is a centerpiece of our outdoor design.

With our expanding employee base, the Dover facility in now too small to serve all of Bayhealth.

Over the coming months we will construct a brand-new childcare center on our Bayhealth Sussex Campus. This thoughtfully planned facility will include age-appropriate classrooms, play areas, gardens and support space. The new childcare center will make it possible for an additional 102 children of Bayhealth employees to be cared for while their parents deliver your healthcare at one of our hospitals, stand-alone emergency/trauma centers or one of our more than 60 outpatient centers and physician practices.
