Dear Friends,

We are excited to invite you to the 38th Annual Bayhealth Foundation Dover Motor Speedway Golf Tournament this April 27 at Wild Quail Golf & Country Club in Camden Wyoming, Delaware all to benefit patients of the Bayhealth Cancer Institute. Please plan to join us for our 2023 tournament which coincides with the spring NASCAR race weekend. We also encourage you to consider supporting our efforts with a sponsorship, contribution or prize item donation for our post tournament awards ceremony.

Your participation will strengthen our continued work to offer innovative treatments and services for community members bravely battling cancer. The proceeds from this tournament will support the Bayhealth Cancer Institute and specifically the Survivorship Program for cancer patients.

Through clinical expertise and personalized care, our talented Bayhealth Cancer Institute team offers hope for a healthier future for every cancer patient at Bayhealth Hospital, Kent Campus and Bayhealth Hospital, Sussex Campus. Through the Survivorship Program, Bayhealth Cancer Institute provides cancer patients and their caregivers a pathway after treatment. A team of nurse navigators compassionately guide patients through each step after a cancer diagnosis, aiding and supporting them in their journey to better health.

Our cancer programs have expanded in recent years to meet the growing needs of our community. We offer genetic testing, counseling and access to state-of-the-art clinical research through our partnership with Penn Medicine’s Abramson Cancer Center.

In 2022, Bayhealth Hospital, Kent Campus was the first in Delaware and one of fewer than 50 programs in the U.S. recognized by the National Accreditation Program for Rectal Cancer (NAPRC). Using advanced technology and the highest quality standards, we remain focused on early detection and treatment of all types of cancers that are prevalent in our state, to improve patient outcomes.

We hope you’ll make plans now to join us and also consider one of our sponsorship opportunities. Sponsors receive premier packages with golf foursomes and advertising. The tournament will be a scramble format. Space is limited, so please contact foundation@bayhealth.org or call 302-744-7015 to register today or to learn more.

We look forward to seeing you at Wild Quail!

John D. Shevock, FACHE, FACMPE Mike Tatoian Senior Director, Oncology Service Line President and CEO Executive Director, Dover International Speedway Bayhealth Cancer Institute
