We are excited to invite you to the 41st annual Bayhealth Foundation Spring Golf Tournament on May 22 at Wild Quail Golf & Country Club in Wyoming, Delaware. This event directly supports the Bayhealth Cancer Institute’s Nurse Navigation Program, which guides cancer patients through every stage of their journey and helps reduce barriers to care. Your participation strengthens our ongoing work to provide innovative treatments and essential services for community members facing cancer.
Through clinical expertise and compassionate, personalized care, the Bayhealth Cancer Institute team brings hope for a healthier future to every patient at our Kent and Sussex campuses. With advanced technology and the highest quality standards, we remain committed to elevating cancer care across the entire continuum—improving outcomes and expanding access close to home.
For 20 years, Bayhealth’s nurse navigators have walked beside patients from the moment of diagnosis, offering support, coordination, and encouragement at every step. They schedule appointments, connect patients with multidisciplinary teams, provide vital resources and serve as steadfast advocates throughout treatment. Recently, our navigation teams have deepened partnerships with community organizations and local businesses to expand access to screenings and increase awareness of cancer risk‑reduction strategies.
Bayhealth’s cancer program continues to grow to meet the evolving needs of our region. This summer, Delaware’s first Hematology‑Oncology Fellowship Program will reach a full complement as it welcomes two new fellows. The Bayhealth Cancer Institute continues to expand its team of physicians and specialists to deliver cutting edge care close to home.
