ACCESS GUIDE TO THE FESTIVAL

A pretty broad grin

Comedy comes in many forms and Leicester Comedy Festival has always tried to reflect that in the events programmed and the people who are involved in creating each festival. This approach has existed since the event began in 1994 and has resulted in numerous projects and partnerships with organisations across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. We’re proud of the work we do with others, as we try and ensure the festival remains “a pretty broad grin” (The Guardian) for as many people as possible.

We are also producing a Mental Health toolkit to the festival, which we piloted last year in partnership with LAMP, The Samaritans and De Montfort University. The toolkit provides information about how you can visit the festival and remain happy and healthy throughout the 19 days.
