Day 3: Play to change the world

(4 MINUTES)

Introductions:

• Each person shares their name, role, and organization they work for, and the country they are currently in.

(3 MINUTES)

Chose Facilitator and Timekeeper:

• Facilitator - the person who is closest to Denmark .

• Timekeeper - the person who is farthest from Denmark.

(This may yield inconclusive results, if so, determine another way to use location to make your choice or simply volunteer for roles.)

• Jot down ideas in response to “What can I do to support playful learning in: (three minutes)

• My inner circle (friends, family, colleagues)

• My community (school, workplace, neighborhood)

• The world (beyond my immediate environment)

• Each person shares one response to any question in a quick round-robin to toss some ideas into play.

• Continue sharing and responding in an open discussion as time allows.

(Suggestion: the timekeeper gives a 3-minute wrap-signal. If there is someone in the group who hasn’t had much of an opportunity to talk, the facilitator can invite that person to share if they wish.)

• Think about what you have learned about playful learning over the past three days. Then complete the following sentence stems.

• Share your responses. Discuss as time allows. (seven minutes)

• Take some time to say goodbye and share contact information with the people in group if you want to invite continued connection. (three minutes)
