Greetings from the President The Legacy of Pearls Foundation, Inc. (LOPF) continually strives to serve the community and can only make that happen through our individual and corporate donors. We want to thank Target and Publix for their support of the Book Bag Blitz. It was a huge success and over 600 Douglas County students received backpacks filled with schools supplies. Read more on the pages ahead.

Congratulations to our 5 Legacy of Sisterhood Scholarship recipients. Each student received a $1500 scholarships. The Legacy of Pearls Book Scholarship application will be available in October, continue to check our website for qualifications and application materials.

I also want to personally thank the family of Linda P. Calloway for leaving an educational legacy by establishing a scholarship with the Foundation. Thank you to Pastor Calloway and family for your generosity.

The Legacy LOPF Helps with School Supplies for Back To School Legacy of Pearls Foundation is a proud beneficiary of school supplies and bookbags from For The Kid In all of Us, Inc. Members of LOPF participated in the Backpack in the Park event and received a donation of 250 bookbags stuffed with supplies! Special thank you to FTK. This generous donation allowed LOPF to help distribute of over 600 book bags to local school children at the annual Bookbag Blitz. We thank the community and other local organizations for their contributions and participation.

Legacy of Pearls Receives Scholarship Donation from Linda P. Calloway Educational Foundation On June 30, 2017, members of Legacy of Pearls Foundation and Sigma Omega Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. attended “An Evening Under The Stars� in celebration of Linda P. Calloway, a member of Legacy of Pearls Foundation and charter member of Sigma Omega Omega Chapter. Her love of children and education led to the establishment of the Linda P. Calloway Foundation Educational Scholarship to carry on her legacy for youth to continue their education. LOPF was delighted to be a beneficiary of $4000 for our scholarship program.
