PSP Concept Game Console
This PSP concept aims to bring back the fun of the classic portable gaming console with modern and improved features to give gamers a better gaming experience. The improved features include wireless fast charging, dual side firing speakers, and a ultrasharp AMOLED display. USB type-C port and headphone jack are included as well.
A modern and eye-catching appearance is implied to the console with a glossy black finish on the front, and metallic accent running across the chamfered edges. The sides however are finished in matte black across the extended back sides to highlight the polished glass back with a reflective PlayStation Logo. The Sony logo is placed on top of the console with a metallic finished.
Throughout the design process, the button layout had been significantly improved by studying the main consoles controller, DualShock 4. The buttons are enlarged to the same size as the DualShock 4, with an added thumb stick on the right for extra versatility while gaming. 2 extra buttons (L2 & R2) are added to the console as well to provide gamers more button customizability.
A new form factor with an in-dent bottom design is adapted in this concept for a better grip, where the pinky finger can sturdily hold the console without slipping outwards. Besides, the back sides of the console had been thickened for the same reason, providing an area for a better grip.
On the back of the console features a thin LED light strip which indicates the battery level and changes light according to the in-game motions, giving gamers a more immersive gaming experience
Coffee Machine
This Nespresso coffee machine concept is designed with a purpose of being a one-stop compact coffee maker. It features 6 one-touch button recipes, a dual nozzle each for milk and coffee, with 2 removable containers on the side for sugar and creamer.
This concept is finished with a glossy cream colour body and a chrome top making it a unique and interesting combination.
This coffee machine concept features 6 one-touch button recipes. Users can quickly prepare in an instant incomparable Espresso, Lungo, Cappuccino, Latte Macchiato, Milky Latte, or warm milk froth suitable for many coffee & milk recipes.
It also features an adjustable drip tray, making it capable of catering various cup sizes. A removable milk system is designed to be inserted on the side of the machine to give it a sleek and compact look.
PURE & BREEZ Healthy Living Product Set
A set of 2 products which provides users a healthier lifestyle in general. PURE is a robotic vacuum cleaner, and BREEZ is a smart air purifier. Both these products feature unique functions that will provide a clean environment and fresh air all day long.
An opposite colour direction had been taken, by using black on healthy living products. With an overall matte finish with touches of glossy black parts, paired with blue LED lights giving them a distinctively modernish aesthetic, yet subtle in any environment.
PURE features touch control panel on the top, a front mounted 3D environmental scanning camera lens, an extendable under furniture sweeping brush, and a dust tunnel that left no dust and dirt in the corners.
On the other hand, BREEZ features a 4 plus 1 filtration system which guarantees better purification. Besides, it comes with a portable version, BREEZ mini for users to bring along to work or outdoors ensuring clean air anywhere they go.
Robotic Vacuum Cleaner
Extendable top bristle brush, allows PURE to sweep dust under any furnitures.
3D environment scanning lens, allows PURE to do machine learning and remembers where obstacles are.
Dust Tunnel, a thin vacuum tunnel extended to the sides for cleaning corners thorughly.
4 cliff sensors to prevent PURE to fall from stairs and raised platform; Rubber wheels allow it to run smoothly on carpet and wet floors.
The dust bin is removable from the top with the washable filter attached in it. Both wheels are individually operated with spring loaded suspensions. PURE features 2 battery which allows it to run longer hours with less charges. Only one suction fan is used in PURE, it is powerful enough for vacuuming by applying the same theory as a turbocharger

4 plus 1 filtration system
This system consists of 4 different filters which are 2 HEPA filters (1 & 2) for filtering dust and small paticles, an Odour filter (3) to get rid of bad smell from the environment, and a Carbon filter (4) to filter out smokes and harmful gasses.
An additional water filtration (5) is used to trap dust by creating artificial water storm in swirling water, further extending the lifespan of the filters. 4 3 2 1

Werable Communication Device
This project is a collaboration with Motorola Solutions to design a communication device for explorers and wildlife expeditioners. It is a tough and rugged device that provides every functionality that an explorer needs in the wild, while keeping it compact in size and easily attachable onto the body or a backpack.
Considering its usage under extreme environments, the casing is made from a floatable material, while being water and dust resistant. Besides, a unique circular form factor is used for this device. It is coloured in Military Green and textured with a tiger camo pattern to provide grip and a rugged appearance.
On the front of the device, it features a hidden display, and a bi-directional rotatable coin edged bezel with luminous compass indices. It also features a bendable antenna, a pair of side firing speakers, a bottom mounted type-C charging port, and a location tracking SOS button. A removable clip is also provided at the back of the device.

Professional Two-way Radio
During the 3 months internship at Motorola Solutions, I had the opportunity to design a 2-way radio for business and commercial-use with the resources in the office. This concept design is based on the research and findings of the needs in the hotel segment.
The form of the concept design started off from the raised area at the top left corner, which was greatly inspired by the top view of the Leica T-series camera. The bump on the camera is to accommodate space for the buttons and knobs on top, while providing an area for the user to grip onto. However, the bump on the 2-way radio is to protect the scroller from accidental scrolls.
To make the concept design interesting, a fully rounded edge is applied on the left side of the device, whereas the right side has a slight curve to break down the form from an ordinary rectangular shape. With the usage of brushed white metal bumper pieces that further extends to the side helps to break down the rectangular form even more, while providing protection for the device.
The body is mainly covered in black textured plastic, paired with brushed metallic painted buttons. The branding is slightly pressed inwards on the top bumper piece, with a glossy domed emblem at the back corner of the device.
Leica T-series camera
Inspiration
With the growing popularity and demand in retro inspired product designs, this concept takes its inspiration from the famous German industrial designer, Dieter Ram. His designs typically follow the ‘10 Principles of Good Design’ published by himself. His designs emphasize a lot on functionality which resulted in the use of simple shapes and patterns, providing the product a minimal and timeless look.
Besides, some other inspirations were taken from Leica. A German Company that had been making camera since the 1900’s. The classic design language and the combination of using different materials and finishing makes their camera stood out from the crowd.
Digital Illustration
The digital illustration is done using Adobe Illustrator during the concept development stage. It shows the side, front, back, and top elevation of the concept design. On the left, it starts with a silent button, following by the PTT button and the transcript button below. On the right lies the USB and AUX port. The front of the device features only 3 navigation buttons, with a semicircle speaker grill design. The power button and the volume control are placed on the top with the extendable antenna.
UI Design
The UI design shows the channel clearly on screen with its respective department below. A notification window at the bottom provides staff a quick glance of the types of message and which department it was sent from. In the top right conner lies the status bar where it features colour changing battery level icon, signal strength, silent, and Bluetooth icon. Changing channel motion moves in a vertical format, as well as all the on-screen navigation on this device.

Moule Self-sustainable Outdoor Public Toilet
Moule is a Self-sustainable Modular Outdoor Public Toilet which aims to provide the best toilet experience in an outdoor environment. The implementation of green technologies and the usage of sustainable materials helps to promote sustainability to the public.
To achieve self-sustainable capabilities, Moule is fully solar-powered with smart energysaving features. Also, it features a rainwater harvesting cistern that provides water supply for flushing and cleaning. Moule uses a compact humanure composting system which turns waste into organic fertilizers for agricultural purposes, which simultaneously helps reduce environmental pollution as well.
Moule features 3 different internal setups (common, urinal, nursery) catered for different public users. Besides, the Moule phone application allows users to check nearby toilet availability when one is urgently in need.
Interior Features
Versatile, Comfort, Functional are the 3 attributes that were set as the priority while designing the interior of Moule. Public toilets were meant to be used by all public users which includes children, elderly, and other priority personnel. But a standard layout will never meet that requirement. Hence, Moule provides 3 different internal modules catered for different groups of public users. Parts can be easily disassembled thanks to its modular and portable nature.

Urinal Unit Common Unit
The common unit has a standard cubicle layout which features a stainless-steel toilet bowl, a bidet spray, and a wall recessed toilet paper dispenser and trash bin combo set.
However, the toilet utilizes a humanure composting method to reduce the usage of water as it flushes out covering materials (peat moss, saw dust etc.) instead of water.
the urinal unit is a men-only unit which features a floor mounted stainless steel urinal. A mini sink is placed right beside the urinal, and a standard wall recessed paper towel dispenser and trash bin combo set across all modules.
The urinal uses no water as it features a waterless urinal technology where a gel-type sealant is used in the part to trap the smell and urine within the drain.
Nursery Unit
A unit specially designed for pregnant women and mothers of young. It features a foldable seat, a mini sink, and a wall recessed stainless steel baby changing station by Koala Kare.
User can maximize usage of the space by folding and unfolding provided features. Moreover, the sink is still accessible even when the baby changing station is unfolded.
Exterior Features
Inspired by the Baya Weavers Nest, Moule formed its unique shape that resembles a flask. A wood strip facade design is a modern and simplified interpretation of the strands of grass and twigs of the nest. The same facade design carries through the entire exterior of Moule, giving it a uniform look. The entry doorway uses a neutral grey colour scheme to match with the slightly sloped tensile roof that acts as a shade and a rainwater collection medium.

Sustainable Features
Moule features various self-sustainable technologies. Supplies taht an ordinary toilet will need such as water and electricity, complex underground sewage pipelines were not needed in Moule. It harnesses power from the sun and turning it into electricity to power itself. A rainwater collection system is used to collect rainwater. A humanure composting chamber replaces the use of sewage pipelines, simultaneously making good use of human waste by turning them into organic fertilizers for agricultural purposes.
