MEET THE CAST
JULIA HOWARD (Susan) This is Julia’s third production with Lee Street Theatre. Previously she played Elinor in Sense and Sensibility and Mina in Dracula at LST. She has also been in other shows around Charlotte. She would like to thank the incredible cast and crew of this show for all their hard work. She would also like to thank her family and friends for their support, and especially her husband, Dan, for all his encouragement and love. AMGD.
TIM CAMPBELL (Roat) It’s been almost four years since Tim last trod the boards at Lee Street. He has appeared in numerous Lee Street shows, including Reefer Madness, Next to Normal, and Blood Done Signed My Name. However, his favorite Lee Street experience was Boeing Boeing, wherein he starred alongside Caitlin Billings, to whom he is now married. Tim and Caitlin now live in Thomasville, along with three extremely destructive cats, and Tim works in Winston-Salem with Smart Start of Forsyth County. Tim is excited to be back, and hopes everyone enjoys the show!
MASON LIVERS (Mike is glad to be back on the stage at Lee Street Theatre. Hailing from Charlotte, NC, Mason has been seen in many Lee Street Theatre productions such as Blood Done Signed My Name (Eddie McCoy/Boo Chavis), Harvey (Wilson), and The Play That Goes Wrong (Trevor). A graduate from Catawba College, he has also been seen in Catawba Productions such as All The Great Books, Abridged (Coach), and Anything Goes (Sailor/Captain u/s). Mason would like to thank his family and friends for their continuous support and wouldn’t be able to do what he loves without them. He hopes you enjoy the production of Wait Until Dark as much as he does!
JONATHAN E. C. WALLACE (Carlino) is thankful to return to the Lee St Theater stage! As a former professional actor for over ten years, Jonathan has had the pleasure to share the stage with so many wonderfully talented people. This tradition continues at Lee St with the wealth of local talent that truly makes Lee St such a special place to come together for live theater. Professional credits include; Annie Get Your Gun, Next to Normal, Thoroughly Modern Milly, Floyd Collins, and Lyle the Crocodile. Local credits include; The Play That Goes Wrong, Willy Wonka Jr, and A Christmas Carol. Jonathan would like to thank his wife Lane for her love and for supporting his passion, his mom Mary Ann McCubbin for watching the kids, and his sons Leo and Oliver!
RYAN MILES (Sam/Director) is an actor from Charlotte NC. He started when was in high school and in local community theaters. As a director he has done a plethora of short films. He directed and acted in “Our Town” at Lee Street Theater.
He has performed as Danny Zuko in “Grease”, Romeo in “Romeo and Juliet”. As well as worked on films such as “Hunger Games”, “You Are Here”, and on the “Banshee” and “Homeland” series. He also writes and directs his own films. He thanks his family for their amazing support and for this wonderful opportunity from Lee Street Theater.
CARA HAYES (Gloria) is thrilled to have the opportunity to work along side such a talented cast and crew. Cara has appeared in over 20 productions across the triad. Some of her most favorite roles include The Ghost of Christmas Past in “A Christmas Carol”, Veruca Salt in “Willy Wonka Jr,” and Annie in “Annie”. Cara would like to thank the directors, cast and crew for this wonderful experience!
SARAH BEDINI (Lisa) is a sophomore BFA musical theatre major at Catawba College. She is from Raleigh, North Carolina and has been active in the arts community there for many years. You may have seen her in Songs for a New World this past fall. She is new to the Salisbury area and has loved seeing productions at Lee Street this past year, and is happy to be stepping in to a new show at a new place!
DIANE DRAPER (Stage Manager) is excited to be back at Lee Street Theater! She’s appeared in LST productions Kimberly Akimbo, The Complete Works of Shakespeare Abridged, and the Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nightime as well as worked backstage for others like 9 to 5 and Deathtrap. Diane was Assistant Director under Rod Oden for LST’s Clue, and is gradually finishing her Associates in Theater online at Hagerstown Community College. She is honored that Wait Until Dark is her first show as Stage Manager, and is incredibly grateful to the director Ryan, Rod, the cast, and the ASM for being a part of this show. She also thanks her family and friends for all of their support!
BETH BENTLEY (Costume Designer) is an independent craftswoman, seamstress, and designer. She has enjoyed volunteering at Lee St Theatre for seven years, on and off the stage. She currently sits as a member of the LST Board. She received a BA in Literature, with a minor in painting, and a Masters in Information Studies degree from UNCGreensboro. Her previous Lee Street designs: Moana Jr, The Play That Goes Wrong, Seussification of Romeo and Juliet (co-designer), Our Town, Glengarry-Glenross, Sense and Sensibility, Frankenstein, Grease, Vintage Hitchcock: Radio Play, It’s a Wonderful Life: Radio Play, and Fun Home.
