Fort Belvoir’s Exchange opened in June 2013 with 270,262 square feet of space to meet your shopping needs. The complex incorporates a main store, food court, home and garden, military clothing sales store along with concessions and a satellite pharmacy operated by Fort Belvoir Community hospital. The main store is divided into three shopping zones; home, life and style. The goal of defining the Exchange brand is to create a tangible, timeless and emotional connection to Soldiers and their families. The Exchange now has 22 mall stores, 12 more than the old store. New additions to the food court include Starbucks, Subway, Pizza Hut and Popeye’s Chicken, while Charley’s Grilled Subs, Burger King and Taco Bell relocated from the former store. The Exchange operates an Express station on North and South Post, each offering fuel, convenience and Class Six items. The North Post store houses an Arby’s, Dunkin’ Donuts and a tremendous variety of beers, wines and spirits. The South Post store boasts a Burger King with dine-in and drive through service. The Town Center store fronts include a spa, computer repair, barber, Subway and Starbucks. Nearby, Exchange patrons will find the South Post Dunkin’ Donuts and Laundromat. Last year the Exchange operations at Fort Belvoir generated $2,937,057 dividends for Morale, Welfare and Recreation programs. A complete phone listing appears in the directory section and on the AAFES website at: www.shopmyexchange.com/ExchangeLocations/ftbelvoirstore.htm

MILITARY INTELLIGENCE READINESS COMMAND
MIRC units are already a regionally aligned operational Reserve, but MIRC Soldiers and units are not tapped to their full potential. We will become more ready and can deliver even more quality work to the Army and to the Intelligence Community (operational) if properly managed, missioned and connected. While we will work with our AC partners (some FORSCOM, but most not) to enable easier calls to short-term active duty, we would be ignoring the guiding principles of No MI Soldier at Rest and Intelligence Readiness Operational Capability if that’s all we did. To do our part to maximize the Army’s operational level intelligence forces in support of Combatant Commands and
8
Army Service Component Commands, it is the TPU Soldier on IDT or AT status at home station, and the systems through which they connect, that we need to concentrate on. We are not likely to get more training days – not only because the Army may not be able to afford them, but because Soldiers don’t have them to spend. We are more limited by time than money, and have families and civilian jobs that we must gain and retain to support the Soldier’s military career. Leaders must organize, plan, and project training that pays readiness dividends without fail and with maximum lead time. PEO SOLDIER
The Soldier is our strength and our purpose at Program Executive Office Soldier. We acquire the best capabilities for
our Nation’s Army so that the U.S. Army continues to be dominant and decisive during the full spectrum of military operations. We provide our Soldiers with the finest equipment and protection available as quickly as possible. We invest in our Soldiers to give them the decisive edge while also being good stewards of taxpayer funding.
OFFICE OF THE CHIEF, ARMY RESERVE
The Army Reserve Mission: The Army Reserve provides trained, equipped and ready Soldiers, Leaders, and Units to meet America’s requirements at home and abroad. MISSILE DEFENSE AGENCY
The Missile Defense Agency’s (MDA) mission is to develop, test, and field an integrated, layered, ballistic missile defense system (BMDS) to defend the United States, its deployed forces, allies, and friends against all ranges of enemy ballistic missiles in all phases of flight.

United States Army Cyber Command and Second Army directs and conducts integrated electronic warfare, information and cyberspace operations as authorized, or directed, to ensure freedom of action in and through cyberspace and the information environment, and to deny the same to our adversaries. 55TH SUSTAINMENT BRIGADE
The mission of the brigade is to provide command and control for all subordinate units, and provide sustainment in an area of operations as defined by the ESC/TSC. The 10
sustainment brigade plans and executes sustainment, distribution, theater opening and reception, staging, and onward movement of Army forces in full spectrum operations as directed by the ESC/TSC. REGIONAL HEALTH COMMAND – ATLANTIC (PROVISIONAL)
Regional Health Command - Atlantic (Provisional), is the nation’s premier military system for health. What is a system for health? At RHC-A (P), we are focused on our patients’ health and wellness, which means we are as dedicated to preventing illness and injury as we are to healing. A system for health enables ready and resilient Soldiers, families and communities. We maintain the readiness of America’s fighting men and women through care that maintains, restores and improves their ability to deploy on a moment’s notice
anywhere in the world. And when our Soldiers deploy, we ensure that a ready medical force is ready to deploy with them, professionally trained and ready to provide world class casualty care. The Regional Health Command - Atlantic (Provisional), is working to build a healthier Army and healthier nation.
