Gwyneth’s Gift Foundation held the first CPR mass training Saturday morning at Stafford Hospital to teach the “handsonly” CPR technique. Members of the public dropped by the parking lot at the medical center for classes taught by cardio pulmonary resuscitation trainers from Quantico base fire and EMS and the Spotsylvania County Fire and Rescue. The foundation, started by Joel and Jennifer Griffin, was formed after their 13-year-old daughter, Gweneth, passed away from complications due to oxygen deprivation after a sudden cardiac arrest on her school track.
