‘Main Street McLean’ Backers Withdraw Proposal No Immediate Reason Given for Pulling Back Redevelopment Package BRIAN TROMPETER Staff Writer
It all seemed to be going so well. McLean Properties had proposed to redevelop a site in central McLean with
a mixed-use project featuring residential, commercial and office space. The redevelopment project would have been built inside the area bounded by Ingleside Avenue, Beverly Road, Old Dominion Drive and Chain Bridge Road.
A new “Main Street” was proposed to be constructed between Staybridge Suites and the Palladium development. McLean Properties presented the Main Street McLean project to the public in February and received some push-back
