ISLAND AREAS Pocomo & Quidnet These quiet neighborhoods along the island’s Eastern end are complete with water views, pristine landscapes, and an array of expansive properties.

HOUSE RULES What time can I check in? Check-in time is usually 3pm. It will say on your lease what time you will be able to check-in. There is always the possibility of checking-in early, so give your rental agent a call to find out. If you’ve arrived early, you are more than welcome to store your luggage at our office at 10 South Beach Street so you are free to explore the island before the house is ready to move into!
Where do I pick up the keys? At your rental! Your rental agent will go by the house to make sure that the house is ready for your arrival. They will leave the house unlocked with the keys on the counter, along with some information about the house including the WiFi password, and a welcome package from Lee Real Estate!
I love it here and I want to come back This is the response we hope to get from all our tenants! We love that you love this island as much as we do. If you fall in love with the island over the course of your stay (because honestly, who doesn’t?) and want to look at rentals for next summer or homes to purchase we would love to help you. Reach out to your rental agent and they can show you every home on the island.
What time do I check-out? Check-out time is 10am, unless another time was arranged. The check-out time will be on the lease. We ask that upon check-out you start a load of sheets and towels to assist our cleaners in getting the house ready for the next tenant checking in. If you are on a later ferry off the island and want to leave your luggage at the office at 10 South Beach Street, you are more than welcome!
What is the security deposit process? Your secuity deposit will be returned to you within 60 days of checking out barring any damages, excessive cleaning, or other charges. After checkin out, your rental agent will be in touch with the homeowner to make sure that everything is in good order so we can initiate the return. To help prevent excessive cleaning charges, upon check-out strip the beds and start the washing machine. Make sure trash is placed in bins and the recycling is separated. This will help expedite the cleaning process and will prevent overages charges deducted from your security deposit.

SET SAIL WITH NCS The best way to see the island is from the water. Nantucket Community Sailing is just the place to hook you up with everything you need for your sailing adventure. Located at Jetties Beach, NCS offers boat rentals as well as lessons and camps for kids.
FISHING CHARTER WITH CAPT. HAL Are you itching to catch your first fish? Want to know the best spots to go? Fishing with Capt. Hal Herrick is the best way to spend the day. Go out and learn the tricks of the trade and bring home some dinner!
ROUND OF GOLF AT MIACOMET Nantucket’s only public 18-hole course is a great way to spend an afternoon. Practice your shot at the driving range, or play a full 18 holes while taking in the beautiful views from the course. Be sure to stop into the restaurant for some food after you play!
TUPANCY LINKS Tupancy is one of the Nantucket Conservation Foundation’s most popular properties. Located on Cliff Road, this former 9-hole golf course is one of the best places to take a walk with the kids and the dogs! Take in the beautiful views of the island’s North Shoe while walkng the clearly marked trails.
CATCH A WAVE AT NOBADEER Grab your board and let’s hit the surf! ACK Surf School at Nobadeer Beach is a great surfing experience for those just starting out to seasoned professionals. Gaven Norton offers private and group lessons, as well as rentals so you can get the full Nantucket surf experience!
ADVENTURE TO GREAT POINT Nantucket has three lighthouses, two of which are easily accessible, the third requires a bit of an adventure. Gas up the Jeep and get your Oversand Beach Sticker from the Trustees and make the trek to Great Point Lighthouse for a picnic.
BLUFF WALK & ROSE COVERED COTTAGES Pick up a coffee at the Sconset Market and enjoy the Bluff Walk to Sankaty Lighthouse. With the open ocean on one side and stunning homes on the other, there are great views in every direction!

There are many reasons we love this island and call it home, however, some things are a little bit different than the mainland. Here is a list of Nantucket-”isms” to keep in mind during your stay. Island gas stations are not 24 hours
The South shore and the East end waters of the island tend to be rough, so be aware with young children and beginner swimmers
Restaurant reservations can be hard to come by so be sure to plan ahead to the best of your ability
One hour parking really means 1 hour
The Bartlett Farm truck comes to town every day during the peak-summer months - to save you a trip to Cisco to pick up your corn & tomatoes

WHEELS UP AT ACK Nantucket Memorial Airport (ACK) is the second busiest commercial airport in Massachusetts after Boston Logan International. ACK operates year round and the terminal houses airlines, a restaurant, ATM machines, restrooms, car rental agencies and wireless internet. Taxi services are available, as well as ride-shares like Uber and Lyft. There is a seasonal shuttle service that operates from Town to the Airport every 30 minutes throughout the day.

Taxis are available and provide transportation across the island. Many of the taxi companies are independently owned and operated and have a fleet ranging from 1 to 5. You can always get a taxi at Nantucket Memorial Airport, Straight Wharf and Steamboat Wharf. There are also taxi stands at Lower Main Street outside of The Club Car and on Candle Street outside of Faherty Brand. Most taxi companies accept advance reservations so if you have to catch a plane or a boat, call ahead! We also have Uber and Lyft on the island as well. One of the best ways to get around the island is by bike! There are bike paths that will take you from east end to west end and everywhere in between. Located on Amelia Drive, the Visual Arts Center has studios for ceramics, print-making, painting, drawing, mixed media, children’s classes, and more. NANTUCKET BALLET • 12b Amelia Drive Nantucket Ballet is dedicated to providing the highest quality of dance instruction year round since 2014. Students are challenged both technically and artistically, and are inspired to find joy in movement at every age and level. There are ballet, Tiny Toes (ages 3+), tap, lyrical, contemporary, as well as private lessons and dance fitness classes.
