Town & Brant Point
Downtown Nantucket, and neighboring Brant Point offer a look into the island’s historic past at every turn. The heart of the island is full of shops, restaurants, museums, harbor views, and stunning architecture.
Madaket
Nantucket’s Western end is known for its unbelivable sunsets, only made better by a Millie’s margarita in hand. Madaket offers miles of coastline, walking trails, and beautiful moors.
Hummock Pond & Cisco
Hummock Pond & Cisco offer something for everyone, especially those looking to be within a stones throw of beautiful beaches, bike paths, and the infamous Cisco Brewers.

There are taxi stands at Nantucket Memorial Airport, Straight Wharf and Steamboat Wharf, Lower Main Street outside of The Club Car and on Candle Street outside of Faherty Brand. Most taxi companies accept advance reservations, and Uber and Lyft are available on island as well.

NANTUCKET LIGHTHOUSES
Nantucket is home to three lighthousesBrant Point, Sankaty Head, and Great Point. Each has a unique look and history, and all are worth a visit! Stroll through town and enjoy a picnic lunch at Brant Point. Venture out to Sconset and take the Bluff Walk out to Sankaty Head. Rent a Jeep for the day and go offroading to get to Great Point for the ultimate ACK beach day!

BRANT POINT • Easy walk from town, scenic views of boats in & out of the harbor
CHILDREN’S • Beach & playground in the same place - perfect for little kiddos!
CISCO • Popular among surfers, with a surf school right in the parking lot! Easy bike ride
DIONIS • Calm, peaceful beach. Good for kids, 3 mile bike ride from downtown
SURFSIDE • On the shuttle route, with the snack shack right in the parking lot
JETTIES • Calm waters, great for little kids with a restaurant and bar on the premises
LOW BEACH/SCONSET • On the shuttle route, not great for swimming but a perfect place to enjoy a Claudette’s sandwich
MADAKET • As far west as you can go! Heavy surf, spectacular sunsets
MADEQUECHAM • Between Surfside and Sconset - tends to be a little less crowded!
MIACOMET • Quieter than Surfside or Cisco, 2.5 miles from downtown and easy to walk onto
NOBADEER • Located just down from the way from Surfside, this South shore beach as a surf school on site
