We are very much looking forward to welcoming you to our 2025/26 season at Leeds Grand Theatre.
Our resident company, Opera North, is returning to our stage with Wagner's tempestuous The Flying Dutchman, Mozart’s The Magic Flute, and the biting satire of Weill’s Love Life. Northern Ballet return, performing Jane Eyre, the mythical Merlin and their magical Christmas production of The Nutcracker.
The National Theatre is back with two wonderful productions, James Graham’s new adaptation of the BAFTA Award-winning Alan Bleasdale’s Boys from the Blackstuff, and their acclaimed production of War Horse, based on the novel by Michael Morpurgo.
There is a huge array of West End musicals across the season including SIX , Bat Out Of Hell, Miss Saigon and Kinky Boots, as well as the UK amateur premiere of Les Misérables: Let the People Sing. Interspersed, we have the best in comedy, with Dara O’Briain, Omid Djalili, Sophie McCartney and Paul Chowdry amongst others, and there is also music, circus, illusion, plays, podcasts and talks.
This season, thanks to generous donations from you, our audiences, we’re able to provide more captioned, audio-described and BSL interpreted performances than ever before at Leeds Grand Theatre. All donations directly support our work to widen access to theatre, film and performance and we’re grateful to all of you who have donated when you’re purchasing tickets. We look forward to seeing you this year!
