5 Things You Don't Know About Me (sponsor)

1. I am tenacious. In my 20s, I sold floor coverings. After visiting a competitor’s account, I suffered a flat tire. Fortunately, I was in front of a tire repair shop, and even though they didn’t speak English, I managed to get back on the road quickly. Much to my dismay, I had to empty the flooring samples from my trunk wearing a short, pleated skirt. They sat and watched me. I went back the next week and got my first order! 2. I am also an animal lover and have two sibling cats named Sanibel and Captiva. This is a continuation of my creative naming from the late 80s and early 90s. My cats then were Spuds and Mackenzie. Mackenzie, after the cat! 3. Photography is one of the many things I do. I have been known to stand on chairs and tables, bend far over bridges and walls and hang off sides, to capture the shot. I’ve never been hurt in the process. 4. I am also a dancer, and I have danced on the bar at Coyote Ugly in two cities, Denver in 2005 and Nashville just this year. And I have hurt myself dancing more than once! 5. I earned my BBA in three years. I was only 20-years-old when I walked for my diploma. It’s a testimony to that tenacity I mentioned in the beginning.
