Dean of Academic Affairs Mark Kauffman, D.O., testified before the Subcommittee, highlighting osteopathic medicine’s role in advancing costeffective, preventive care. LECOM's selection reflects its growing national influence as the largest medical school in the U.S. and a model for the patientcentered approach policymakers are seeking to promote.
Pro Sports Partners Help LECOM Honor Students at Scholarship Day Ceremonies On March 28, the Bradenton campus honored 65 students alongside representatives from the Atlanta Braves, Baltimore Orioles, Tampa Bay Rays, and New York Yankees, whose combined generosity contributed $167,652 to the LECOM Student Scholarship Fund.
On April 11, the Erie campus recognized 69 students with representatives — and mascots! — from the Buffalo Bills, Buffalo Sabres, Cleveland Guardians, Cleveland Browns, and Cleveland Cavaliers in attendance, reflecting a combined donation of $364,350 to the Fund.
