LECOM Erie, Seton Hill and Bradenton Celebrate White Coat Ceremonies White Coat Ceremonies in Erie, Greensburg, and Bradenton (Elmira’s ceremony will take place Nov. 8) recently welcomed the next generation of healthcare professionals as students in medicine, pharmacy, dentistry and podiatry received their white coats — symbolizing their entry into the medical profession. These milestone events celebrate each student’s dedication to compassionate, patient-centered care and mark the beginning of their professional journey with LECOM.

LECOM Sponsors Monster Pumpkin Fest LECOM joined the fun at Pittsburgh’s Monster Pumpkin Festival in October. Visitors stopped by the LECOM tent to learn more about our programs and meet students while enjoying the region’s largest display of recordbreaking pumpkins. During the two-day event, Dr. Kevin Thomas presented Emily Wood, Western PA Scholarship Award winner, a check for $5,000.
LECOM Alumni Gather at OMED 2025 In September, LECOM alumni, faculty, and students gathered in Nashville during OMED for an evening of connection and celebration. The LECOM alumni dinner provided an opportunity to share memories, network with fellow graduates, and hear updates on LECOM’s continued growth and impact.
