OUR STORY
Learning SPACE was founded by sisters Lorraine, a teacher, and Mary, a social worker, who were inspired by their personal experiences. Their mission is rooted in making a difference, especially after supporting their sister Emma, who has Soto Syndrome. This passion for improving access to resources and knowledge drives everything we do.

These social sanctuaries take into consideration key factors such as acoustics, lighting, touch, movement, location, and the thoughtful use of signage, color, and design to help navigate the space effortlessly. Although primarily designed with neurodivergent individuals in mind, these spaces offer benefits to everyone.
The Need for Neurodivergent-Affirming Spaces
Elements such as light, noise, scent, and texture can become overwhelming, while navigating different communication styles can lead to stress and exhaustion. Our neurodivergent-friendly spaces serve as a safe haven providing a place to recharge and regain focus.

Interesting to note Postura+ chairs are now made with at least 30% recycled polypropylene and KI plans to increase this percentage to reach 50% in the next few months, and ultimately 80-100% in the future!
