Countless discussions, online surveys, zoom polls during COVID 19 wave, blue sky thinking sessions, and numerous consultations with sectoral leaders finally led to the formation ofComprehensive Primary Health Care (CPHC) Alliance in 2021, the first such alliance in India.

4 STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES OF CPHC ALLIANCE

Support Health Systems

To effectively achieve people centric wellness model of CPHC

Implementating Models

Generate/aggregate multiple evaluated models of implementing CPHC and community led actions; and advocate for their scale up

Increased Investment

Advocate for increased financing of primary health care and identify additional/alternative financing mechanisms for CPHC

Inter-sectoral collaborations

Develop and implement evidence based models for inter sectoral collaborations that address social determinants of health
