CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR AWARD WINNERS!

Outstanding Turf Professional Wayne Philley

Bud Thigpen Distinguished Service Award was awarded posthumously to Jay Strickland. Jay passed away in July, 2019. He was a lifetime member of the Mississippi Turfgrass Association and a valued supporter of MSU’s Golf & Sports Turf Management Program.

Accepting the award for the family is family friend, Chad Lambert. Presenting the awards is MTA President Al Osteen.
