Leader dredger introduces a new range of LD1200dredging equipment

The LD1200dredger created by Leader Dredger is used for tasks such as River dredging or Pond dredging.

The LD1200 dredging equipment is designed to be reliable, detachable, durable, and has many customization options, such as navigation packs, spud carriage pontoon, production measurement unit, etc.

The vessel has an overall length of 38.5m with the ladder, whereas the length over the pontoons is 25.5m. It is 2m-deep with a beam of 7.95m, draught of 1.05m and air draught of 6.4m, and a gross weight Of 140t.

LD1200 vessel has a total installed power of 1,293kW. It is capable of storing 22m3 of fuel oil, 8.8m3 of ballast water and 2.5m3 of hydraulic oil.

The vessel features a spacious ergonomic control cabin and engine room. The operator’s cabin is installed with air conditioning and heating system. It offers a panoramic view of both the vessel and the site.

Our standard cutter suction dredge’s digging depths range from our smallest at 20′ (6 m) up to 58′ (18 m). For special applications, digging depths can be increased substantially.

The latest LD1200 can customize the depth of the excavation. If the water depth of the construction is deep, the digging depth of the dredging equipment can be changed.

Standard Leader Dredger LD1200 series dredges have an engine and pump sets chosen for efficient output ranging between 2,625' (800 m) and 3,280' (1,000 m).

The new hull was designed to meet BV Rules for Sheltered Waters. The new design criteria allows for increased portability and easier construction in the field, adding it accomplished these goals by reducing the number of side pontoons from four to two. In addition, the dredge uses a new, simplified bow gantry design.

Another Improvement Is The Hydraulic System, Which Is Now Based On Variable Displacement Pumps. This Approach Allows For Lower HP Input And Thus Less Fuel Usage To Get The Same Hydraulic Power To The Devices. The LD1200 is also equipped with a modern electric Over hydraulic control system using Parker IQAN controllers for increased reliability.

With its design to BV Sheltered Water rules, 20” (500 mm) discharge, 50’ (15 m) digging depth, and improved portability, the Series LD*** is suitable for a variety of applications, including harbor, river and waterway dredging, land reclamation projects, sand mining, and mining and tailing pond assignments.
