What is happening next?
Following the successful demolition of the multi-storey car park in Lichfield city centre we are pleased to confirm we are now in the next stage of works which is landscaping the site to become a hub for temporary activities and events.
The works will be delivered by specialist contractor Cawarden. Its Civils & Groundworks team has arrived on site this month and the landscaping is scheduled for completion and to be opened to the public by the end of this year.
Site Working Hours & Logistics
Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays) 7:30 - 16:30
Please note that we will not be operating noisy machinery at all times during the above working hours.
The key planned works to be undertaken in October and November:
• Level up ground ready for paving and turf installation works
• Excavate and install new drainage
• Install Breedon gravel to hard landscaping area
• Import and lay topsoil, followed by turf installation and planting

Retail units in Three Spires shopping centre have also been taken down to prepare the site for access to the cinema and this area will be developed during the cinema development and plaza works. The current hoardings on the site will be repositioned when this work begins. We will share progress updates with you over the building timeframe with our anticipated cinema
