Lichfield Proms in Beacon Park A highlight in the district calendar

The end-of-summer free concert attracted an estimated 15,000 people in 2022, and featured performances from the City of Lichfield Concert Band and the British Police Symphony Orchestra.

Over 250,000 people have enjoyed the Proms since it started in 1999. The Proms has gained significant recognition over the years for being a high-quality event, alongside other local events such as Lichfield Bower, Cars in the Park, Fuse Festival, Food Festivals and Burntwood Wakes. Events such as these support the health and wellbeing of residents, as well as boosting the local economy – both through tourism and supporting the local supply chain.
