MESSAGE FROM
Board Chair and President & CEO
Dear Members, Partners, and Allies:
As we reflect on 2024, one truth stands out: advancing Latino representation in corporate boardrooms is not just a matter of equity—it is a business imperative. With your unwavering support, the Latino Corporate Directors Association (LCDA), along with its foundation, the Latino Corporate Directors Education Foundation (LCDEF), made significant strides in ensuring that the voices of Latino leaders are both heard and valued in shaping corporate strategy and governance.
Last year, LCDA hosted its largest-ever Annual Board Leaders Convening, facilitated over 500 member introductions to board influencers, released impactful research that informs corporate governance, and deepened partnerships that are driving real momentum for inclusion. These milestones underscore our commitment to building a robust pipeline of qualified Latino directors prepared to meet the complex demands of today’s global business environment.
In 2025, we are excited to welcome new board leadership and a newly elected Board of Directors, who bring fresh perspectives and renewed energy to LCDA’s mission. Together, we remain focused on solidifying LCDA’s position as the premier organization preparing and elevating Latino leaders for boardroom success while helping companies harness forward-thinking leadership to achieve their strategic goals.
We are committed to championing inclusive governance and showcasing the unique value Latino leaders bring to the boardroom. By expanding our community of governance leaders and equipping them with the tools to excel, we aim to demonstrate how diverse perspectives drive innovation, strengthen decisionmaking, and drive long-term value. Our focus remains on empowering Latino directors to make exceptional contributions in boardrooms nationwide and globally. We cannot do this alone. This is a collective effort.
Thank you for your continued partnership in this critical mission.

In 2024, the BRI, organized by LCDA’s foundation, Latino Corporate Directors Education Foundation (LCDEF), hosted programs in Chicago, IL, and Boston, MA.

“This was a unique opportunity to go deep into the governance of boards, the multiple ways in which we could add value to a board, and what it takes to get there. The caliber, variety, and mindset of the group of attendees and faculty made this couple of days truly memorable.”
