T
he HFP150 is the latest addition to the Hahn line of firewood processing attachments for skid steer loaders and compact track and wheel loaders. When attached to a properly equipped loader, the HFP150 Compact Firewood Pro can pick up a 6' to 10' log, cut it into firewood blocks, and split those blocks into 2, 4, or 6 pieces. All functions are performed by one person seated in the loader's cab—resulting in greater safety, improved productivity, and making cutting and splitting firewood a whole lot easier. The HFP150 Compact Firewood Pro is: • An affordable alternative for the person looking for a faster, easier, more efficient, and safer method of putting up firewood—but doesn't require the production capacity you get with the larger Hahn HFP160 commercial unit. • A smaller, lighter, simpler machine that runs well on most mid-sized skid loaders in the 45hp to 50hp range—with hydraulic flows of 15 gallons per minute.

ntroducing the BHP270 Modular Power Pack featuring Fecon’s Power Management System for maximizing performance and torque while minimizing fuel consumption. The BHP270 is designed for use on most excavators in the 20-30 ton range. The modular aspect of the BHP270 overcomes custom engineering of the power pack and dramatically shortens lead times so the installer can begin their work more quickly. Where industry lead times for power packs had run 6-8 weeks or more, the modular design of the BHP270 allows Fecon or its dealers to have units in stock for immediate shipment. The BHP270 comes with an innovative universal adaptor plate that also speeds up the installation process. The universal adapter plate fits a wide variety of excavator designs. It is the adapter plate that is customized to the excavator. Then the power pack is mounted to the adapter plate. This eliminates the need to custom design the entire power pack per specific brand, model, and year of excavator design. Fecon’s BHP270 comes with a Cummins QSB 6.7 260 HP engine, 105gpm hydraulic flow, swing out hydraulic oil cooler, reversing cooling fan, and an 84 gal fuel tank to work a full 8-hr day or more between re-fueling. ith a total of 2,206 attendees and exhibitors registered, Expo 2015 – the 33rd Forest Products Machinery & Equipment Exposition conducted by the Southern Forest Products Association (SFPA) – was a resounding success. For three days – June 10-12 – displays of 188 exhibitors covered more than 54,000 square feet of the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta. Featuring a floor plan that was 45% larger than the 2013 event and total attendance up 18%, the wood industry was ready to show off the latest equipment, technology and services available. “With our industry in full recovery mode, people came to Expo 2015 with a mindset to invest in their operations,” noted SFPA’s exposition director Eric Gee. “Exhibitors met with a quality crowd, including company representatives ready to purchase new equipment and services from industry leaders,” he added. Exhibitors were impressed with the quality crowd attending all three days of the show. “Our sales team stayed busy all three days. I’m glad we booked a larger space this year to show off more equipment,” said one exhibitor. “The quality contacts we wanted are here,” commented another exhibitor.
