We are looking for an experienced Quality Control Coordinator who has strong math skills. Primary Duties and Responsibilities • • • • • • • • •
Perform routine in-coming, in-process and first article inspection using various tool such as caliper, measuring tape, density reader and other measuring devices in a timely manner. Document inspection reports. Liaise with supplier on non-conformances. Propose and follow up on corrective actions. Conduct investigations related to deviations. Monitor and evaluate supplier performance. Develop quality policies and procedures. Lead internal audits as an Auditor. Other duties as required.
Qualifications • • • • • • • • • • •
Minimum 3 years QA/QC experience in production or manufacturing environment, with a post-secondary education. Ability to read mechanical part and assembly drawings. Strong analytical skills and keen attention to detail. Mechanically aptitude. Comfortable working with electrical. Experience in SolidWorks and AutoCAD would be a definite asset. Ability to create quality control release or hold reports using Power Point, Excel and other MS Office software. Ability to read vernier caliper and use other measuring devices to .005". Ability to diligently identify and effectively communicate deviations to manager's attention. Ability to multi-task with strong organizational skills to organize daily events to meet commitments. Able to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
