The Product Manager is the knowledge expert within Arconas on not only our present product line, but also our future and past. You will report to and have the support of our Executive Vice President when you need it, but you will be expected to bring your own experiences and knowledge to solve problems. Determines customers' needs and desires by specifying the research needed to obtain market information. Recommends the nature and scope of present and future product lines by reviewing product specifications and requirements; appraising new product ideas and/or product changes. Assesses market competition by comparing the company's product to competitors' products. Provides source data for product line communications by defining product marketing communication objectives. Advises on the additions, enhancements and removals of product from the Arconas offering and understanding product profitability and the effect on the bottom line. Educates partner departments on market position of product lines, features and benefits. Obtains product market share by working with sales team to develop product sales strategies. Assesses product market data by calling on specifiers, clients with field salespeople. Prepare and carefully manage short-term and long-term product matrix, introductions and developments. Brings new products to market by analyzing proposed product requirements and product development programs; establishing time schedules with engineering and manufacturing. Introduces and markets new products by developing time-integrated plans with sales, advertising, and production.
